Do you want to play a key role in shaping secure and future‑proof Identity & Access Management at Rabobank?
As Business Architect IAM Foundation and (IAM) Data & Insights, you enable technical delivery and engineering excellence within one of the bank’s most critical domains.

You & your role

Identity & Access Management (IAM) is a core capability for Rabobank. IAM ensures that employees and machines have access to the right resources, at the right time, for the right reasons — in a simple, user‑friendly and secure way. Hopefully you’re smiling when you see how it’s phrased while knowing all the complexity underneath.

The purpose of Tribe IAM is to deliver an end‑to‑end IAM Identity Fabric, including monitoring and reporting that keeps Rabobank in control of all access within the bank. The IAM domain is broad including the access management, authentication, cryptography and certificate services of the bank.

With everything that is happening such as geopolitical tensions, post quantum cryptography, AI agents that need their access controlled and a bank landscape always requiring further standardization there is more than enough change to challenge you as an architect.

Within Tribe IAM, the Area IAM Foundation provides the technical IAM capabilities, such as Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Authentication (IDP services) and other foundational platforms. The Area Data & Insights provides insight and drives business value using all the data available in the IAM landscape.

As a Business Architect within IAM, you work in a driven architecture team to design, evolve and govern the enterprise-level IAM architecture keeping in mind all areas with a specific focus for two: Foundation and Data & Insights. You ensure coherence between areas, creating a clear end-to-end IAM blueprint that covers both operational IAM capabilities and insight-driven access governance.

You balance stability and security in the IAM tribe with innovation and transparency in the Data & Insights area, ensuring IAM supports Rabobank’s Zero Trust strategy, regulatory compliance and data-driven decision-making.

Getting results

As Business Architect IAM Foundation and D&I, you:

  • Define and maintain the target architecture for both IAM Foundation and IAM Data & Insights, ensuring consistency and clear boundaries between the areas.
  • Safeguard the core IAM landscape (identities, credentials, access, roles, policies) within the Foundation area.
  • Design and evolve IAM data models, reporting, dashboards and evidence capabilities in the Data & Insights area, supporting auditability, compliance and operational insight.
  • Ensure IAM data is reliable, traceable and fit for regulatory purposes (e.g. DORA, NIS2, internal risk & control frameworks).
  • Drive architectural alignment between IAM platforms, data consumers and enterprise reporting solutions.
Top 3 responsibilities
  • Co-lead the IAM Foundation and IAM Data & Insights areas together with the respective Area Leads and Tech Leads as part of the management team.
  • Functionally lead Solution Architects across both areas, ensuring architectural coherence across squads and helping the architects develop their skills.
  • Manage dependencies and trade-offs between platform stability (Foundation), innovation (AI and geopolitical developments) and analytical innovation (Data & Insights).

Together we achieve more than alone

We believe in the power of differences. By combining people's differences, we become an even better bank.
