We translate customer behaviour and performance data into sharp insights and informed choices and convert these into scalable solutions with a direct impact on customer experience and commercial results.  

In our multidisciplinary teams, you will work together with the best people in the field: from proposition managers and journey experts to UX/UI designers, data analysts, developers, architects, business analysts and product owners. Together we achieve impact from start to finish from formulating the right customer question to experimenting, building, launching and continuous improvement.

As Tech Lead you're responsible for 3-4 of the DevOps teams. Our ambitions are high: with new features and a better customer experience focussed young customers, we want to attract new customers and continue to engage them.   

You work at the intersection of business, tech, and design - ensuring that our customer experience at least is meeting our customers’ expectations, but we aim to exceed their expectations.  

Your mission: You play a pivotal role in building a growth mindset engineering culture: A fast(er) time to market, experimentation and learning are crucial to bring the innovation, while at the same time operating on the existing platform and meeting the applicable standards for security and continuity. You know how to balance strategic direction, innovation with day‑to‑day operational excellence.  

You understand how to maximize the value of a shared digital platform and how standardization accelerates the entire organization. 

Your decisions directly impact customer experience, app ratings and engagement of our Rabo App and Growth Acceleration specific features.

• Bachelor, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field 
• 8+ years of experience in complex IT environments, including 3+ years in a Tech Lead or team‑leadership role (formal or strong social leadership with growth ambition) 
• Solid technical mindset: able to engage deeply with engineers, Business Analysts, Solution Architects to influence technical decisions, and lead initiatives 
• People‑management and coaching skills, working comfortably with multicultural, distributed teams  
• Delivery‑management experience or interest in developing end‑to‑end delivery ownership, coordination across teams, and risk/stakeholder management. 
• Understanding of compliance, security, and reliability or motivation to learn and take responsibility for application health. 
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. 
• Experience with vendor management or openness to learning how to manage external partners. 
• Agile mindset or willingness to grow into collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement
