As Tech Lead IAM Foundation, you enable technical delivery and engineering excellence within one of the bank’s most critical domains.

Identity & Access Management (IAM) is a core capability for Rabobank. IAM ensures that employees and machines have access to the right resources, at the right time, for the right reasons — in a simple, user‑friendly and secure way.

The purpose of Tribe IAM is to deliver an end‑to‑end IAM Identity Fabric, including monitoring and reporting that keeps Rabobank fully in control.
Within Tribe IAM, the Area IAM Foundation provides the technical IAM capabilities, such as Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) and other foundational platforms.

As Tech Lead IAM Foundation, you are responsible for the technical delivery and engineering leadership of five DevOps squads (approximately 55 engineers, 60% internal and 40% external):

• IGA Foundation (4 employees): providing a stable, secure and reliable Identity Governance Administration platform by optimizing and maintaining the One Identity core system, including third‑party identity management for employees
• IGA4NHI: delivering Identity Governance Administration for non‑human identities
• IAM Domain Orchestration: enabling secure and compliant IAM capabilities through automation, increasing delivery speed and enforcing standards
• RTAM: providing access management solutions that adapt to the changing needs of modern enterprises, ensuring correct access for people and machines
• SSIL & MFA: building a self‑service integration layer that enables system owners across the bank to easily connect to IAM services, while enabling and monitoring Multi‑Factor Authentication for applications

You work closely with Product Owners and Solution Architects to define and execute the technical delivery vision for your area.
You take into account the rapidly evolving IAM landscape, with a strong focus on automation, standardization and scalability.

At the same time, you build autonomous, high‑performing teams, foster continuous improvement and support the development of engineers — both individually and collectively.
You are accountable for the quality and impact of your squads, within Tribe IAM and across Rabobank.

As Tech Lead IAM Foundation, you:

• Define and realize the technical delivery for Area IAM Foundation
• Build and strengthen technical capabilities within the area
• Take end‑to‑end responsibility towards IAM stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement and increase DevOps maturity
• Manage technology vendors and implementation partners

• Ensure IAM standards and policies (e.g. security policies) are followed across your technology stack
• Drive a strong engineering culture focused on learning, craftsmanship and excellence
• Deliver the technical capabilities required to execute the IAM roadmap

You bring:

• Academic thinking and working level, preferably a Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Identity & Access Management
• 10+ years of relevant work experience, including working in a Simplify@Scale environment
• Experience in leading and building onshore and offshore DevOps teams
• The ability to create, facilitate and inspire high‑performing teams, with a strong focus on development and collaboration
• At least 10 years of managerial experience
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
• Experience with IT management and software development processes
