Rabobank is simplifying and modernising the Financial Accounting and Product Control & Accounting landscape. Within Tribe Finance & Product Control, our squads maintain and build new cloud solutions that will be used within the entire Rabobank.
Together with Architecture, Tech lead, DevOps teams and Product Owners, you, as a SAP Authorisation consultant, will optimise, design and maintain authorisation solutions for the various SAP applications within our bank.
Set up and govern access for several (growing) SAP BTP services, for example:
- Integration Suite (CPI)
- Data Intelligence Cloud (DIC)
- Business Process Automation (BPA)
- CI/CD, cTMS
- Cloud ALM
- Position for 36 or 40 hours per week

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic SAP Authorisation Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner who is willing to learn and grow in their role.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable authorization concepts across SAP S/4HANA systems, with a strong focus on technical architecture and system-level compliance.
- Manage, maintain and develop SAP ABAP users, roles, and profiles, including complex role structures and technical role derivation.
- Configure SAP Fiori Launchpad authorizations, including catalogs, spaces, and pages, with attention to technical dependencies.
- Manage user and role provisioning in SAP HANA Database, including repository-based development, HDI containers, and schema-level access control.
- Perform deep-dive troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with technical teams (Basis, Development, Integration) to align access control with system architecture and deployment pipelines.
- Support audit and compliance efforts with technical documentation, SoD analysis, and traceability across environments.
- Contribute to the development of reusable security templates, automation, and governance frameworks.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP authorization management, with a strong technical orientation.
- Deep understanding of SAP security architecture, including role design, user provisioning, and system-level access control.
- Proven experience with SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration and technical role mapping.
- Solid knowledge of SAP HANA Database security, including HDI containers, repository roles, and schema-level access.
- Experience with SAP BTP platform, SAP BTP platform services and its technical security models.
- Proficient in using SAP tools for troubleshooting and analysis.
- Ability to work independently in a technical consulting role, with minimal functional guidance.
Nice-to-Have
- SAP certification in Security & Authorizations or SAP Technology.
- Experience with GRC Access Control, Identity Provisioning (IPS), or Identity Authentication Service (IAS).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices in SAP landscapes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of cloud security principles and hybrid identity management.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, or SOX.
