• Salary: Gross monthly salary between EUR 4,931 and EUR 7,043 (scale 09) for a 36-hour work week.

Shape data governance for over 40 squads across 4 platform areas, influencing solutions used by thousands of Rabobank colleagues worldwide.

Drive the design of data governance solutions that enable Rabobank to be a data-driven bank. As Senior Solution Architect Data Governance, you work at the heart of the Global Data & Analytics Platform, coaching teams and translating governance principles into scalable, compliant architectures. You collaborate daily with engineers, product owners and stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions that support colleagues and customers.

• Designing a metadata and data lineage solution that supports regulatory compliance across multiple platforms.
• Coaching squads on data governance standards while balancing cloud, on-premises and hybrid architectures.
• Aligning data quality frameworks with business and regulatory requirements for enterprise-wide adoption.

• 36 or 40 hours per week.
• Supporting approximately 40 squads across the Global Data & Analytics Platform.
• Over 48,000 Rabobank colleagues worldwide.

• Design and maintain enterprise-level data governance architectures that cover data quality, metadata management and data protection across platforms.
• Coach and guide multiple squads by translating strategic governance principles into concrete, scalable technical solutions.

• Academic work-thinking level with at least 5 years of experience in IT or solution architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing and implementing complex IT architectures in cloud, on-premises and hybrid environments.
• You have knowledge or experience of Linux Foundation AI & Data Landscape.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with data governance, including data quality, metadata management and data protection.
• Experience with data management tooling such as data catalogs, data lineage tools and data quality platforms, combined with strong analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work together with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Curiosity, proactivity and a clear willingness to develop yourself continuously.
