Build and operate automation services used by hundreds of teams on 9000+ on‑prem servers, ensuring secure, scalable, and auditable infrastructure automation across Rabobank.
Build, operate, and continuously improve the Ansible Automation Platform within the Infrastructure as Code area. As DevOps Engineer Ansible Automation Platform, you develop reusable automation and ensure stability, security, and compliance in a complex enterprise environment with global impact.
You work closely with DevOps engineers, security and compliance specialists, and infrastructure teams to standardize automation and raise engineering maturity across Rabobank.
- Designing and maintaining Ansible roles and playbooks used by multiple global infrastructure teams.
- Integrating Ansible Automation Platform with enterprise systems such as CyberArk and IT service management tooling.
- Improving platform stability and security for automation used across thousands of servers.

- Operate and improve the Ansible Automation Platform by optimizing scalability, security controls, and execution flows across enterprise automation services.

- Bachelor or Master level work‑thinking level with 5+ years of DevOps or infrastructure automation experience.
- Experience with Ansible Core, roles, collections, playbooks, and Jinja2 templating.
- Hands‑on Ansible Automation Platform (AAP/AWX/Tower).
- Robust Linux engineering skills. Solid administration, networking basics, and security fundamentals.
- Infrastructure‑as‑Code mindset. skilled with Git, code reviews, linting, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and SDLC principles.
- Secure‑by‑design automation. least privilege, secrets management, compliance, traceability, and safe change flows.
- Proven ability to integrate automation with systems like CyberArk and ITSM platforms.
- Able to design and build reusable modules/collections (Python experience is a plus).
