You help shape a compliant and scalable data platform for Rabobank, enabling data users across the bank through secure data services for more than 1 platform domain.

Improve and build advanced data solutions that strengthen Rabobank’s data platform. As a Senior Data Engineer, you design and maintain scalable data pipelines in Azure Databricks and develop secure APIs that help platform users keep their data compliant. You collaborate closely with the record keeping team to ensure high‑quality, reliable data services.

• Build and optimise high‑performance Databricks pipelines to process billions of records.• Develop FastAPI services to deliver compliant data for platform users.• Strengthen governance by implementing secure and automated data workflows.

• 36–40 hours per week.• You work in the record keeping team that ensures compliant data services for 1 data platform domain.• 9.5 million customers worldwide.

• Lead the improvement of secure and scalable data service components that support compliant data use across the record keeping domain.• Create automation that enhances reliability and reduces manual interventions in data workflows throughout the platform environment.• Collaborate with teams to embed governance, quality, and performance requirements in end‑to‑end data solutions.

• 10+ years of experience designing and delivering production data solutions.• Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark and FastAPI, including Databricks optimisation.• Experience with Azure services such as Data Factory, Storage, SQL and DevOps.• Analytical thinking.• Collaboration skills.• Problem‑solving mindset.• Structured communication.• Adaptability.• Result‑oriented working style.
