You help deliver high‑quality sustainability reporting for Rabobank, enabling compliant disclosures for frameworks such as Pillar 3 ESG and EU Taxonomy, impacting reports across 3 major regulatory domains.

You & your role

As a Reporting Analyst within the Sustainability Squad of the Tribe External Reporting, you play a vital role in delivering high‑quality sustainability‑related regulatory disclosures for Rabobank Group. You collect, validate and analyse complex datasets, interpret new regulatory developments, and help build robust reporting processes that meet evolving ESG requirements.

Your work supports key disclosures such as Pillar 3 ESG reporting, the EU Taxonomy, and Fit‑for‑55 climate stress‑testing frameworks. You collaborate closely with colleagues from Sustainability, Control, Data Foundation and other Group functions. The insights you provide form the foundation for senior management decision‑making and regulatory compliance.

With an evolving sustainability data landscape, increasing expectations on climate reporting, and strong focus on data quality and automation, this role offers a challenging environment with significant opportunities to grow your expertise.

Examples from practice
  • Participate in the interpretation of new sustainability regulations and translate these into reporting solutions (e.g., Pillar 3 ESG templates, climate stress‑test reporting, EU Taxonomy templates).
  • Discuss the outcomes of the reports with our stakeholders and explain how the figures are being created
  • Manage the reporting solution together with the other reporting analysts during the (semi-)annual reporting run.
Top responsibilities
  • Collect and validate data from various sources/complex datasets, address data quality issues, investigate and resolve inconsistencies and errors, prepare reports, and analyse shifts in figures.
  • Maintain an end-user computing solution which is used to create the reports
  • Engage in process improvement, maintain stakeholder contact, interpret new regulation and translate these to report, and participate in the setup of new or enhanced sustainability‑related reporting processes.
  • Apply a structured, hands‑on approach while working in an agile, multidisciplinary environment.
Together we achieve more than alone

We believe in the power of differences. It is precisely by combining people’s differences that we become an even better bank. We are curious about what you add to our team of Sustainability Reporting Specialists.

The people of the Sustainability Squad ensure reliable, complete and compliant sustainability reporting for Rabobank. The team is made up of four reporting analysts, with one of these positions currently open as a vacancy. We’re complemented by a developer who supports us where needed, a scrum master who helps guide our way of working, and a product owner who provides overall direction. Together, we form a motivated team focused on delivering high‑quality sustainability reporting.

The Sustainability squad operates within the Risk Reporting area of the Tribe External Reporting. The Tribe External Reporting, part of the CFO domain, is responsible for all regulatory reporting across the bank. Collaboration is our approach; as one analytically driven team within Rabobank.

Work on yourself and the world around you at the same time

For us, your development and that of society go hand in hand. That’s why we want to invest in you and work together for a better world. We summarise this in one sentence: ‘At Rabobank, you work on yourself and the world around you at the same time.’ You’ll see this reflected in your personal development budget, our hybrid working environment, and a healthy balance between work and home. You can work on banking services for our private and business customers, as well as societal issues such as food and energy transitions.

Why everyone is welcome at Rabobank
