You as Senior Business Analyst are responsible for analysing and modelling data for the Group Risk Finance Data platform, with which Rabobank will satisfy all financial and risk related reporting requirements of the different regulators. You will gather, analyse and document the business requirements and create data models and designs for the data warehouse system. You work with business representatives, using our agile way of working and cooperate with developers and test engineers within your DevOps team and other teams. You, as part of your DevOps team, are responsible for changing and running the IT solutions delivered by your team.
This means the ability and willingness to have responsibility for the full software development process, from requirements to the (continuous) delivery pipeline, up to running in the production environment. Requirements are not only business requirements but also take into account the operational aspects like maintainability, (re-)startability and security requirements.

- While ensuring BCBS 239 compliancy and therewith safeguarding the bank’s license
- Risk & Finance is responsible for development, maintenance and support of the financial and risk systems including GRFD
- Build a future proof data warehouse in GRFD using Datavault modelling principles.

- 7 years or more working experience as a Business Analyst (preferably in a data warehouse environment)
- Bachelor or Masters degree
- You naturally take the lead and set a strong example for others
- Proven ability to coach and mentor team members.You are a team player
- You are able to communicate effectively in English (mandatory) and Dutch (preferable)
- You have a creative mentality and you explore alternative workarounds
- You have a focus on quality, maintainability and stability of the IT solution delivered; this directly relates to the operational responsibility your DevOps team has
- Experience in or affinity with the financial sector, the banking sector in particular
- Knowledge of and experience with Credit Risk reporting
- Experience with translating business and functional requirements into (logical) data models
- Knowledge of and experience with BI, Data Modelling (DataVault), and PowerDesigner
- Handson experience with SQL queries (writing & interpreting) including time traveling.
- Knowledge of and experience with data analysis and data modelling methods and best practices.
