As a Credit & Collateral Manager, you manage a portfolio and follow the transactions under the various trade finance facilities. In an international and dynamic environment where you service globally operating Trade & Commodity Finance (TCF) clients.

TCF finances clients throughout the whole value chain in commodities: from the production of raw materials in the country of origin, to delivery to the manufacturer. Activities range from transactional trade financing and corporate financing to structured (pre-export) financing and FI trade finance.

You and your jobIn this hands-on job, you are the spider in the web by independently monitoring the movement of goods, the release of stocks for exports, shipment details, collateral values, counterparties insurance, ensuring collection of sales proceeds, compliance checks, and daily external communication with customers, warehouses, shipping companies, brokers, and more! At times, you also join the relationship manager on a visit to clients.

Practical Examples

  • Independently judge transaction proposals of TCF clients (limits, collaterals, compliance, behavior)
  • Perform in-depth Borrowing Base checks, initiating and ensuring Collateral Inspections.
  • Think about how we can make use of innovative solutions, digitalization, and process optimization to improve efficiency and become even more effective.

Facts & Figures

  • 36 or 40 hours per week
  • Circa 200 TCF colleagues worldwide, based in various offices across the 3 time zones
  • 43,822 Rabobank colleagues around the world

Top 3 responsibilities

  • Act as a sparring partner to Relationship management & Credit within your squad about applications to various facility structures
  • Maintaining Client files, and implementing Facility Structure (Limits and Sub Limits) using the TCM (Triquesta Collateral Management) system
  • Monitoring of exposures and valuation of collaterals

You are expected to play an active role within the squad. From time to time your participation in specific broader (TCF or bank-wide) projects is asked.

Together we achieve more than aloneWe believe in the power of difference. Bringing together people's differences is what makes us an even better bank. So we are very curious about what you can bring to our team at Trade & Commodity Finance.
