You & your role

As a Developer Relations Specialist, you will be a founding member of Rabobank’s Developer Success Team within the Customer-Facing Platform Organization. This platform powers digital experiences for millions of Rabobank customers. Your mission is to champion the developer experience, foster a vibrant internal developer community, and ensure that teams building on the platform are empowered, productive, and successful.

This is a strategic and hands-on role where you’ll act as a bridge between platform engineering and internal development teams, advocating for their needs and driving adoption of platform capabilities.

Top responsibilites
  • Developer Advocacy: Represent the voice of developers across the organization. Gather feedback, identify pain points, and work with platform teams to improve tooling, documentation, and APIs.
  • Community Building: Cultivate a strong internal developer community through events, forums, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Enablement & Education: Create and deliver onboarding materials, technical guides, demos, and workshops to help developers succeed with the platform.
  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality technical content (blog posts, tutorials, videos) that showcases platform capabilities and best practices.
  • Feedback Loop: Establish structured feedback mechanisms between developers and platform teams to continuously improve the developer experience.
  • Platform Evangelism: Promote platform features and updates internally, ensuring developers are aware of new capabilities and how to use them effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to align developer needs with platform roadmap and strategy.

You & your talent
  • Proven experience in a Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or Developer Experience role.
  • Strong technical background, ideally with hands-on experience in Java/Kotlin and/or Angular.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging content.
  • Passion for developer experience, community building, and internal enablement.
  • Experience working in large, complex organizations or regulated environments (financial services a plus).
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.
