Helping Rabobank strengthen its security and compliance posture by translating Security and Compliance requirements, also known as “In Control,” activities within the bank, into concrete activities that support the squads of Tribe Digital Platform.

You & your role

As a product owner for a team of Risk champions, you support squads and Tech leads by translating security, compliance and In Control requirements into practical, recurring activities and by proactively identifying risks and improvements. You act as an information expert, providing guidance, monitoring progress, and ensuring teams understand and implement the Way of Working effectively.

Top responsibilites
  • Organize and prioritize the work for Risk champions based on the individual needs of different areas in the Tribe. 
  • Guide the Risk champions to translate In Control requirements based on quarterly Tech Priorities and daily Business-as-Usual activities into actionable and clear tasks for squads.
  • Organize support for squads by identifying knowledge gaps on In Control topics and  finding the right source or contacts to answer helping them solve In Control issues.
  • Monitor the Tribe’s In Control status and signal issues to Tech Leads to enable timely interventions.
  • Help prepare Tribe level progress reports to share with Tech leads and Tech domain manager.
  • Actively collaborate with DCO to improve the risk and compliance status of the Tribe.
  • Reach out to topic owners or requesting parties when there are questions for clarification or discrepancies with progress dashboards.
  • Actively find opportunities to simplify the way of working, thereby making it easier for squads to plan and implement In Control activities in their sprints.
  • Function as the linking pin between the Tribe and other Retail tribes to share knowledge, best practices and report inefficiencies in communication about Tech topics.

You operate within Retail NL Tech as part of the CITO organization.  You will be working as part of the Tribe Digital platform.  Along with other Risk champions you will be supporting the squads in DP. You will collaborate closely with Tech Leads, DevOps squads, DCO, Product Owners and Scrum Masters.

You & your talent

Technical skills    

  • Excellent planning and project management skills.
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps
  • Solid understanding of Rabobank's Risk control framework and SRMP processes.
  • Experience working with tools like HALO ITSM, Power BI,
  • Affinity with topics like IAM, MFA, Vulnerability management, CI/CD, IT Disaster Recovery etc.,
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices.
  • Ability to analyze In Control issues from multiple angles.
  • Good high-level understanding of Rabobank's DevOps lifecycle, tools and technologies.
  • Previous experience working as a Risk/Security champion in large organizations is a plus.

Soft skills

  • Strong communication skills for explaining In Control requirements.
  • Proactive approach in improving solutions and supporting squads.
  • Ability to facilitate, negotiate, and influence stakeholders.
