Junior Business Analyst - Early Career Program

Are you ready to make an impact and discover your best self as a Junior Business Analyst at Rabobank?

The role

During our Early Career Program at Rabobank, you will work on your career by joining a dynamic team responsible for keeping the critical payment processing of retail and corporate clients up and running at all times. You will start in a junior position, paired with a senior business analyst, and quickly gain practical experience in an agile scrum environment.

The team that you will be joining is the SEPA team. In this team you will learn about payment flows, including ISO formats, SEPA credit and debits, direct debits and clearing and settlement concepts. Our SEPA payment processing solution is based on a vendor-bought application that runs in our on-premise data centers. It interacts with other banks via our CSM, and has many integrations with other applications within Rabobank. So as member of this team you also interact with a lot of other teams, business analysts, architects and other stakeholders.

While you are part of this team, you will participate in the ECP program, 1 day a week. You will participate in workshops and training modules and spend most Fridays in training sessions at our Utrecht offices or online.

And then? After completing the program, you will be ready to continue your journey with us as a Junior Business Analyst, equipped with valuable skills and a strong network within the bank. You will have the opportunity to specialise or explore areas you enjoy most, contributing to both your personal growth and Rabobank’s mission to grow a better world together.

Tribe Account & Payment Factory

The SEPA team is part of the Tribe Account & Payment Factory at Rabobank. We are responsible for processing millions of payment transactions a day for our customers, and other services related to that purpose. In the Area of Transaction Processing, we deliver fast, reliable, and efficient transaction processing 24/7. Our motto: Seamless payment processing, all day, every day. For us it is all about keeping our services available, compliant, scalable and adaptable. To ensure this we are also renewing our ‘payment factory’, simplifying our payment landscape, decommissioning legacy systems, and migrating to new tech stacks and technologies.
