- Salary: Gross monthly salary between EUR 5,876 and EUR 8,395 (scale 10).

Within Rabobank we treat data as a product. You will shape Rabobank’s future by developing automation services that make data product creation seamless, standardized, and fully metadata‑driven for a wide range of topics like customer data, external data, sustainability data and many others across the whole bank.
As Data Automation Product Manager, you define the vision and roadmap for automating data product creation and ensure that we do this in a standardized, compliant, and high‑quality way. Your focus is to make data product development seamless and metadata‑driven, eventually requiring no engineering skills, using the latest technologies such as GenAI‑based code generation.
You will introduce and support these automation services across the organization, continuously improving them based on user feedback and close stakeholder collaboration. This is a unique opportunity to drive a strategic effort at Rabobank to simplify, standardize, and boost efficiency at scale.
- Develop onboarding flows to guide new domains in adopting the standardized automation service.
- Implement enhancements to metadata‑driven product creation.
- Implement computational governance in the data product lifecycle

- Define the product vision and roadmap for automated, no‑code data product creation, ensuring a high‑quality, stable standardized service with automated metadata and business definition registration aligned to Data Management Standards and Data Product Standards within the bank.
- Drive adoption with a compelling story and user success by 1. organizing the onboarding and support for this managed standardized service. 2. building an active user community to understand their needs and feedback in order to further prioritize the functional and non-functional features in line with the product vision.
- Expand and strengthen organizational alignment by engaging new domains and tribes, guiding their transition to the managed service, and maintaining strong partnerships with the Global Data Platform and Governance teams.
You work in the Enterprise Data Products area within the Tribe Data & Analytics Products and Transformation, collaborating with IT DevOps teams and architecture to provide high‑quality, scalable automation services.

Our team in Area Enterprise Data Products, part of the Tribe Data & Analytics Products and Transformation in the Chief Data and Analytics domain, currently consists of 10 enthusiastic Product Managers and Data Management specialists. We do this together with 8 IT DevOps teams (consisting mainly of business analysts, data engineers) supported by a strong architecture function.

- Strong analytical skills (Academic Technical or Management background) with a technical background and natural interest in high paced technological developments. Able to do business case structured thinking.
- At least 3+ years of work experience as Project Manager / Product Owner/ Team Lead in the field of Data & Analytics and in software development (experience in managing a technically oriented multi-disciplinary team and product).
- Experience with AI/GenAI technologies, data modelling tools and databricks.
- Experience with delivery on Managed Standardized Services
- Knowledge & Experience in the field of Data management (Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Lifecycle Management, Data Engineering, Understanding of Cloud tech etc.).
- Experience with establishing a product vision & roadmap to determine priorities and next steps (think first, act later).
- Strong in stakeholder management and communication. Experience with communicating the vision, strategy and findings in presentations to various stakeholders.
- Ability to focus on the solution by continuously being in contact with stakeholders to determine their requirements, pro-actively seeking for ways to improve the solutions and by providing advice on possible solutions to stakeholders.
- To be considered for this position you must be located in the Netherlands, re-location is not possible for this role.
