Will you work on yourself and the world around you while accelerating your Engineering career at Rabobank?
As a Junior Dev Ops Engineer in our Identity & Access Management department,
you get a chance to work in one of the few places in the Netherlands where you can work in an large scale IAM environment, with a high level of complexity while using the latest advanced IAM technologies. If you think you are ready to step up to this level – you may be in for a challenging ride!
Identity & Access Management (IAM) ensures that employees have exactly the access they need to do their job, nothing more and nothing less. In this way, Rabobank prevents (un)conscious risks or fraud and complies with laws and regulations. Recently we have started to expand this IAM infrastructure to also manage “non human” entities: machines, services, agent, robot all need a similar form of access control.
You’ll work with OneIdentity and technologies like VB .NET, C#, and PowerShell, while we prepare the move to a cloud‑based setup. We work Scrum/Agile, collaborate closely across teams, and give you room to try new ideas that improve how we work and the value we deliver.
During this starter role at Rabobank you work on your career by learning in a complex IAM environment, pairing with experienced teammates, and delivering improvements that users notice. You grow by switching between business and tech questions and by turning issues into solutions.
And then? After successfully completing our 18 month program you continue working as a Dev Ops Engineer in one of the IAM teams.
- Manage a complex, highly available IAM environment that is mission critical to Rabobank.
- Translate business questions into smart technical solutions that create tangible improvements for end users.
- Collaborate on analysis and refinement of work items with colleagues inside and outside the team.
- Length: 18 months
- After which you will continue to work with us as Dev Ops Engineer IAM
- Hours per week: 40
Within this program, you will have the opportunity to get to know yourself, the field, and Rabobank. The program lasts a total of 18 months. You will start the program in a junior position within one team, participate in (online) workshops and training modules with other juniors, and quickly gain practical experience. Together with others, there is room for creativity and initiative to organize events, training sessions, and knowledge‑sharing sessions. This way, we continuously improve the program and ourselves! You will easily build a large and valuable network within the bank.
In the Rabobank Early Career Program IT, you will work on your technical and personal development for 18 months. This includes technical training based on the work you do and your personal interests. You will also work on relevant skills, and various themes such as sustainability, as well as learning how a bank operates. In addition to this, you will choose one of the tracks that suits you. In these tracks, you will focus more on the content of your role. You will meet fellow starters from different departments weekly, and on other days you will work within your own team.
Development is our top priority. Because the best way to learn is by doing, through mistakes and successes. At Rabobank we offer you the right balance between freedom and supervision. To develop talents you never thought you possessed. To specialize in a professional field or explore the things you're good at and enjoy doing. During your program you can count on us for excellent supervision. You'll work with experienced colleagues and have lots of contact with young professionals.
For us, your development and that of society go hand in hand. That's why we want to invest in you and work together towards a better world. We summarize this in one sentence: “At Rabobank, you work on yourself and the world around you at the same time.” This is reflected in your personal development budget, our hybrid work environment, and a good balance between your work and home life. You can work on banking matters for our private and business clients, but also on societal issues such as food and energy transitions.
