Empower our organization with a future‑ready global data management capability that unlocks trusted, high‑quality data at scale—driving innovation, enabling AI, and confidently safeguarding compliance every step of the way.
Managing data was, is, and always will be a defining capability for banks. It fuels strategic ambitions, strengthens operational resilience, and elevates customer journeys through high quality, trusted data. And with the rapid adoption of large-scale AI systems, the need for an outstanding Chapter Lead has never been greater.
As Chapter Lead Global Data Management (GDM), you lead a team of data management consultants and oversee our global data management framework—policies, procedures, governance, and execution. You drive transformation, ensure compliance, and enable the organisation to harness data as a strategic asset. You are the go to expert for all questions on data management and related risks — trusted, visible, and impactful.
- Implementation of our data management framework for business-critical reports and models (regulatory compliance).
- Drawing up a data management strategy to enable data management by design, fit for purpose governance and AI-ready data.
- Strengthening collaboration with our data platform and products team to enable the offering of reusable data products in a marketplace.
- 40 hours per week.
- 9.5 million customers worldwide.
- Lead the Global Data Management team (15 FTE): direct reports for consultants and indirect leadership for specialists. You lead by example.
- Foster engagement and motivation within your team—because people always come first.
- Own and maintain the global data management policy and procedures, provide domain level oversight, and initiate corrective actions where needed.
- Bring data management into the AI era by driving scalable, efficient, and future proof implementations of our capabilities.
- Report regularly on data management risk, guiding corrective and mitigating actions.
- Translate complexity into clarity, speaking the language of all your stakeholders while avoiding unnecessary jargon.
We believe in the power of differences. By combining our diverse perspectives, we become a better bank. The Global Data Management team is part of COO (Chief Operating Office). Our Chief Operating Officer (COO) domain plays a central role in how we run our organization. By bringing together core operational processes, data management, compliance-by-design, and the Transformation Office into one domain, we ensure consistent, simplified, reliable, and customer first execution across the entire business. In terms of data management the centralization will improve data quality, integrity, and accessibility; essential as we scale analytics and AI responsibly.
Your growth and positive impact go hand in hand. You get a personal development budget, a hybrid work environment, and a healthy work–life balance. You contribute to banking services for private and business customers, and to societal challenges like the food and energy transitions.
We are stronger when people complement each other. By embracing our differences, we bring out the best in one another. We seek diversity in knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as in background and culture. Every department aims for variety and the space to be yourself—whoever you are.
