The new Daily Liquidity platform is the strategic direction for the ALM Treasury Tribe. You are experienced in managing 3 squads. You can strike the balance between coaching and leadership. You get energy to partner with the PO’s and Techlead to ensure the squad grow towards high performing teams.
You lead the squads that who develop the Satellite and Harmonizer platform within Risk & Finance Tech Tribe Treasury, in the heart of the bank.
As a Scrum Master, together with your team(s) and stakeholders, you make a crucial contribution to the delivery of value to our customers. With over 500+ other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches you also contribute to one of the largest Agile Transformations in Europe. As a Scrum Master leading at 3 squads within one Area, your primary mission is to foster collaboration, drive continuous improvement, and facilitate operational excellence. Your role is to understand how value is delivered and guide your squads to achieve it with purpose. By fostering a culture of high engagement, you enable your squad to implement intricate initiatives with precision.
You organize, participate, and contribute to Area and Tribe rituals, ensuring alignment and smooth progress. Supporting the Product Owner with backlog, roadmap, and stakeholder management, you coach your squads to continuously measure and improve their performance and impact. Ensuring a safe environment where feedback is freely given and received is crucial for promoting growth and innovation. You mentor individual squad members and fellow Scrum Masters in their personal development and Agile maturity.
As a sparring partner for Area leadership, you enhance the maturity and quality of the Agile organization. Understanding and bridging cultural differences, you create a cohesive and collaborative team environment. Maximizing the use of Azure DevOps, you manage work and dependencies effectively.
You strive with your squad to improve refinement, predictability, reliability, and transparency in all endeavours. Additionally, you support events at the Area level and contribute to the Scrum Master guild within the Tribe, influencing colleagues’ mindset and behaviour to align with agile values. Furthermore, you will contribute to our organization's transformation to become faster, more digital, and more client-focused. By coaching, consulting, and guiding teams, you will enable the success of our digital transformation, helping to develop our organization into a professional Agile organization at scale.
As a scrum master within the area, you'll play a key role in promoting a culture of autonomous squads and making sure we work according to the Agile principles which results in an optimized workflow and an open, transparent and familiar working environment. In this way you contribute to the development of backend applications and building blocks, as well as ensuring our tooling and quality remains ahead of the chasing pack, and that our compliancy, performance and application uptime remains exceptional.
You and your talent
What we are looking for in you:
- You have at least 8 year experience with scaled Agile (preferably Simplify@Scale or Less) in your role as Scrum Master
- You are an expert in Agile and contribute from your coaching skills.
- You are result driven and do not shy away from challenging conversations to really improve the squads performance.
- You are data driven and therefore use the KPI’s / AzDo measures to show improvements
- You exhibit a growth mindset and like to learn from feedback
- You have a keen eye on technical dept and Run improvements
- You have what it takes to convince professionals
- You know how to hold your own in different contexts and always have your sights set on the continuous improvement of organizations
- You work as a trusted advisor to your stakeholders and identify possible improvements pro-actively
- You identify team dynamics and intervene when needed to improve collaboration and performance
- You have an above average interest in change management and enjoy being involved in the overall business strategy.
- You have PSM 1 and 2 certification
- Other Scrum Master or Coaching certifications
- Minimal 5 years experience in a financial institution
- Native Dutch speaking is a strong pro
- 36/40 hours per week

Together with you, the team will consist of 70 diverse colleagues in a variety of roles, including: business analysts, architects, and engineers.
