You & Your Role
As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you know the secrets of building secure and accessible digital banking services. You’ll join the ‘Full Power’ team within the Tribe Digital Platform, working alongside experienced engineers responsible for authorisation and authentication in the Rabobank app and website. You’ll have a fixed position in the team, while every Friday is dedicated to technical and soft skill training. Over 18 months, you’ll develop into a fully-fledged DevOps Engineer, working on challenging projects and collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

During the Early Career Program at Rabobank, you’ll work on your career by immediately joining an experienced team, with plenty of guidance from senior colleagues. After the programme, you can continue to grow within Rabobank and contribute to the bank’s digital transformation.
- You will work on projects such as developing new features for the Rabobank app and optimising online access for millions of customers.
- You will have the opportunity to work with modern technologies such as Cloud Foundry, Azure, and Java.

Practical
- Program length: 18 months
- Start date: The programme starts on 1 April, but you can start working with us in February or March
- Hours per week: 40
- Location: Hybrid (Utrecht office & remote)
Your Development as a Young Professional
To become a specialist in your field, you will follow training courses in the first 18 months that directly relate to your specialism and talent development. You will work with other starters on cases and challenges, and receive guidance from experienced colleagues. You are encouraged to take initiative, seek feedback, and learn from your mistakes.
You & Your Talent
- You have completed a masters degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Software Engineering, ICT or a similar field 0 to 2 years of work experience
- Affinity with ICT
- Training or experience in ICT (e.g. through projects, internships, or self-study)
- Knowledge of Cloud, Azure, Java, and Databases is a plus
- Curious and eager to learn (striving to improve every day)
- Taking unambiguous ownership
- Feedback makes you stronger
- Able to adapt in changing situations
