Product Manager Global Data Platform

• Gross monthly salary between EUR 5,381 and EUR 7,687 (scale 10) for a 36 hour week
• Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance

• EUR 1,400 development budget per year

You will work in a challenging, international environment where you contribute to Rabobank becoming an even more data driven digital bank. Becoming data driven requires availability of well governed data. We are improving the availability of data by implementing a Global Data Platform to act as a governed data marketplace where data producers and data consumers exchange data as a product across Rabobank globally.

You are part of a team of Product Managers working on the different services of the Global Data Platform at Rabobank. Your specific assignment will relate to the Data Quality service used to monitor and report on the data quality of data products on the platform. You will be expected to further grow the usage of this successful service by ensuring the best possible user experience, while crucially ensuring that the service is scalable and stable. You will also be expected to contribute to the overall global data platform strategy and roadmap.

• Create an up to date product vision and inspire the team with this.
• Communicate with stakeholders effectively across the bank and grow the user base of this service
• Deeply understand user feedback to continually improve user experience
• Challenge the squad and architecture to ensure a scalable design and prioritise any necessary improvements.

• Lead the Devops squad working on the data quality monitoring service and ensure value is delivered as well as investment in scalability and stability.
• Engage deeply with users to understand their needs, translate these needs to tangible backlog items,   and manage user expectations.
• Contribute to overall Global Data Platform strategy by taking a holistic platform and user perspective

• Academic background (Bachelor or Masters degree)
• Min. 5 years of experience as product management in data & analytics
• Min. 5 years of knowledge and experience in the field of data management
• Demonstrate understanding of DAMA-DMbok, BCBS239 , GDPR
• Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage
• Analytical and driven to achieve value for our users
• Connect easily with others, build relationships and skilled in stakeholder management
