Risk Manager Global FEC Anti-Bribery & Corruption

• Gross monthly salary between EUR 4,516 and EUR 6,449 (scale 09) for a 36 hour week

Would you like to apply your knowledge to determine the risk Global FEC AB&C department faces through execution of AB&C risk assessments and determining the mitigating measures? As a Risk Manager within Global FEC AB&C, you play a critical role in ensuring that Rabobank meets requirements of and effectively manages AB&C risks. You have the opportunity to contribute to the vision on and Global development and implementation of FEC AB&C risk and control framework. As part of your role, you will lead the performance of AB&C risk assessments  with the goal of developing a holistic AB&C risk and control frameworkwithin the FEC chain and all relevant business departments specifically prone to AB&C risks. You will make a meaningful contribution during multi-disciplinary meetings with various stakeholders in steering globalization of the AB&C framework as well as the set-up of a continuous improvement cycle. Your proactive approach is crucial to reach the AB&C purpose: Together we safeguard our customers, the bank and society by detecting and preventing AB&C violations.

• You design and maintain the First-line Global Enterprise-Wide ABC Risk Assessment (''AB&C EWRA") methodology document in accordance with Rabobank governance and Control Standards principles;
• You contribute to the AB&C EWRA risk scoring modelling exercise;
• On an annual cycle, you scope, plan and roll out the global AB&C EWRA across all legal entities (full end-to-end process) to an auditable standard;
• You gather AB&C data (qualitative and quantitive) on behalf of the legal entities as part of the planning phase;
• You host kick-off sessions and workshops to partner with the businesses in their AB&C EWRA IRA assessment questionnaire returns;
• You assess and validate AB&C EWRA results, to identify the AB&C inherent risk ratings for each legal entity and provide risk profiling purposes;
• You translate the inherent AB&C risk ratings and the results of the AB&C EWRA into a finalised Report for Senior Management groups;
• You identify risks and mitigating measures based on end-to-end processes;
• Contribute to the team’s design and monitoring of the AB&C risk and control framework;
• You translate outcomes of reports from e.g. Audit, FLM, SLM, consultants and industry leaders into actions for the AB&C framework;
• You perform the Risk Identification, Assessment and Response (RIAR);
• You support the team with Finding and Action Management and Incident Management;
• You help the Management Team of AB&C take a risk-based approach and help them enhance their execution power.

Customer orientation, organizational sensitivity, complex problem solving, and stakeholder management are indispensable for this position of Risk Manager. In addition, it is important that you recognize the checklist below:

• A bachelor's or master's degree;
• Strong subject matter expertise in Operational Risk Management, AB&C Compliance, and/or AML/CTF;
• Proven experience in the execution of AB&C risk assessments;
• You have sufficient conceptual insight into the FEC/AB&C focus area and the associated / appropriate risk policy, risk management, methodologies and techniques;
• Capable of building and maintaining solid business relationships with a large stakeholder field with the ability to challenge control and process owners;
• Ability to work independently and to communicate and report effectively to management
• You are driven to keep your knowledge up to date with new developments in the industry;
• Above all; you have a positive presence and are ready to make a difference. 

In the dynamic FEC domain, no working day is the same! You follow current events and determine the impact on the AB&C risk profile with colleagues. You analyse reports and other information for the required sharpness and depth. And translate them into opportunities for improvement. About which you advise and report to relevant colleagues within AB&C. This can be as part of the periodic risk management activities or ad hoc. It is important to know that the team and the risk management tools are under construction. And as a Risk Manager AB&C you can therefore also make an important contribution to the further development and professionalization of this.
