• Gross monthly salary between EUR 4,516 and EUR 6,449 (scale 09) for a 36 hour week

Working in the fast paced world of Leveraged Lending means enabling private equity (financial sponsors) to invest in growth opportunities, fostering innovation and growth in the economy. • Execute transactions by performing analyses on target companies (financial, commercial, structures, sustainability), financial modelling, writing credit applications, involvement in loan documentation negotiations and taking care of operational activities
• Cooperate with other departments (M&A, Debt Capital Markets / Loan Syndications, Transaction Banking, Sector Bankers, Relationship Managers etc.) and manage internal (management, risk officers) and external stakeholders (e.g. private equity clients, debt / legal advisors) throughout the whole deal process  
• Manage the client portfolio by amongst others analysing the company’s performance, handling client requests and writing (annual) reviews, next to supporting Investment Managers in managing and developing client relationships
• Contribute to and create marketing materials for pitching purposes about (re)financing or other opportunities for prospects and clients.

The Leveraged Lending team brings talented people together to structure, execute and manage event driven financing in close cooperation with Sponsor Coverage and other departments including Loan Syndications and Risk Management. The Leveraged Lending team covers the European region with a focus on the BeNeLux, France, Iberia, Italy, Germany and the UK. We are a diverse and internationally oriented team with people from different nationalities and backgrounds.

Rabobank Leveraged Lending is a leading arranger across the entire spectrum of the European leveraged finance market, following Rabobank’s Banking for the Netherlands, Banking for Food and Banking for Energy strategy. We often act as lead arranger on transactions and occasionally participate in transactions led by other banks. Our customers are financial sponsors, who acquire a controlling interest in a target company, by using capital raised via funds under their management. Transactions are generally structured on the basis of the cash-flow generating capacity of the party to be acquired. Funding can take the form of senior, mezzanine or other subordinated debt instruments. With you, the Leveraged Lending team consists of c. 30 diverse colleagues in a variety of roles.

You and your job

Customer focus, collaboration, development oriented, judgement/analytical skills, quality driven and result driven are clearly essential for the role of Analyst. In addition, it's important that you recognize yourself in the checklist below: 

• Master degree or equivalent; 
• 0-3 years working experience; 
• Interest and/or experience in (Leveraged) Lending and/or Private Equity; 
• Risk awareness; 
• Strong ambition and work ethic; 
• Good at process and stakeholder management; 
• Creativity and an innovative mindset; 
• Proficient interpersonal and communication skills; 
• Fluent in written and spoken English. Fluent in additional language (French/Spanish/German) is a pre.
