You and your impact

Working on a central Global Data Platform (GDP) in the Cloud. This platform is built on Azure Cloud, and both the environments and squads are growing rapidly. We strive for high-performing and self-managing DevOps squads, where squad members take responsibility and are willing to learn. Within the squad, everyone works closely together, each squad member shares expertise and has their own specialization. In addition to creating new functionality, maintenance, configuration, security, processes, and procedures are also the responsibility of the DevOps squads.

You and your job

As a Software Engineer, you can make a difference. Currently, various DevOps squads share the responsibility for the setup, development, and maintenance of the GDP for Rabobank. You work together with the squads to have an efficient, structured, and reliable data platform. We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to strengthen the Data Governance squad, which specializes in data governance topics, mainly metadata catalog integration. The Data Governance squad provides self-service data governance capabilities and ensures integration with the metadata catalog to ensure that data is controlled, findable, understandable, accessible, and compliant with regulations.

Practical Examples

• You build solutions that are used in various areas within GDP, particularly the data catalog as the single source of metadata for all GDP.
• You define and develop solutions together with other squads working on Data Governance.
