Financial Economic Crime (FEC) CDD Pillar for Wholesale & Rural (W&R) is responsible for the design, modelling and procedures management of FEC within the Global Regions where Rabobank is active, including Europe, North America, South America, Australia & New Zealand and Asia. CDD W&R Pillar is responsible to maintain consistency, effectiveness and one Rabo approach towards CDD process.

As a CDD W&R Pillar strategy lead you will play a critical role in taking the lead in coordinating, monitoring and steering on design effectiveness projects across CDD W&R domain. This calls for strong stakeholder management, oversight, a structural approach, great relationship management and a getting-things-done mentality. 

Practical Examples

  • You work closely together with stakeholders in the various Global FEC departments to ensure that design issues impacting overall CDD process are addressed.
  • You work with local stakeholders to identify root causes of issues and develop effective response plans.
  • You constantly seek opportunities to improve our effectiveness in a complex international stakeholder environment.
  • You constantly seek opportunities for process enhancements and design improvements.
  • You work with stakeholders to execute CDD W&R Pillar vision and ensure everyone is updated throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

  • Identifying opportunities for standardization and executing complex cross functional projects to ensure regions are aligned to Global standards.
  • Review current processes to identify process gaps and recommend appropriate solutions to enhance Risk management and efficiencies.
  • Organize the required multi-disciplinary team/squad and coordinate improvements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of design issues and work with the solution owners to create and implement strategies to address identified risks.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders regarding risk status and milestones, provide early signals if an action is at risk.
  • Represent CDD W&R pillar in various business, tech and vendor forums.

Stakeholder management, collaboration and a result-driven mind set are essential for the role of Global Strategy Lead. In this role, you make the right connections to deliver an integrated approach to design elements.

  • Academic education/ level of thinking and working with at least 10 years’ experience within project & change management, preferably within FEC CDD related projects;
  • International experience within Wholesale & Rural, preferably in the FEC domain;
  • Strong and informal leadership style focused on relationship management, motivation, facilitation, and reliability;
  • Experience in working in a complex, global stakeholder field and ability to function amidst of organizational sensitivities;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the flexibility to adapt to all levels within the organization;
  • Experience with Lean and Agile way or working;
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written). Good knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
