You are empowering and supporting data producers on the Global Data Platform (more than 300 producers) to provide trusted data. Your are contributing to Rabobank becoming more data driven bank.

You and your job
You are part of a team of Data Management Consultants (Platform Stewards) of Rabobank Global Data Platform. Data Management Consultants are responsible for supporting data producers on the Global Data Platform, which is used across Rabobank, in their data management compliancy journey. This entails covering  such topics as data quality management, metadata management, data lineage, reference data, and data protection. You are dedicated to improving the compliancy of producers and ensuring feedback loop between users (producers, consumers) and product (data platform) based on an excellent understanding of both the data management standards and our users’ needs.

Practical Examples

  • Actively monitor, manage and guide data producers to implement standard controls and resolve control outcomes
  • Establish, monitor and ensure data governance standards and procedures are in place and operating effectively, leading efforts to educate the business
  • Educate Data Producers, Data Set Owners, Data Stewards, Data Providers and Data Engineers regarding role and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with platform users (data owners, product owners and squads) across the bank to empower and support them to deliver reliable data to the data platform.
  • Engage with users to collect and understand feedback for the data platform in the area of data management  and translate requirements to DevOps teams
  • Define data governance processes and requirements for the platform

You and your talent

  • Academic background (Bachelor or Masters degree)
  • Experience in data stewardship, business analysis (min 2 years)
  • Understanding of DAMA-DMbok, GDPR, BCBS239
