You and your future
During the Young Professional Program IT (also known as YPPIT) at Rabobank you work on your career one day a week by following technical training, or you work on your personal development. You develop talents you didn’t know you had and we are given the space to discover for yourself what you are good at and what you like. And then? Everything you learn in the training courses can immediately be put into practice, because the other 4 days you work in your starter position as a Junior Designer.Under the guidance of experienced colleagues, you will become a specialist in your field in no time. In addition, in the program you will work together with the team on 2 business challenges on themes such as the cooperative energy transition. 

You are the designer for our Mobile retail or business banking app. Together with your design colleagues you are working on the designs for new or improving existing banking services. It will be your challenge to design the best possible digital customer experience for our clients. For example, the customer experience of our app will offer new services like payment request or Apple pay. There will be a variety of opportunities as it will be possible to rotate between different products and services. You share our aspiration to only deliver our clients the highest quality. Are you the designer that brings our banking App to the next online level? In addition, together with other Young Professionals you work on a business challenge that deals with a broader topic involving Rabobank’s our sustainable growth plan.

Examples

• You deliver final designs and support the development teams to implement them.
• You will be collaborating in a multidisciplinary team with developers, marketeers and other stakeholders that is exploring a new space.
• Your work is inspired by customer insights and you collect customer data to create the best possible experiences by excellent designs.  
• 2 business challenges within the YPPIT.

Your development

To become the specialist in your professional field, in the Young Professional Program IT 1 day a week you mainly attend training courses that that support your talent development. The courses are often given by experienced colleagues or trainers with a track record. You build your network, gain valuable experience and develop skills which will be of use to you later in your career.

You and your talent

• a bachelor or master degree, or an equivalent working / thinking level
• already some experience in UX design for web and mobile applications and websites
• excellent proficiency in English

This is a selection of the terms of employment for a Junior Designer based on a 40-hour working week.
