Security Specialist GIS
Join us as a Security Specialist and become the driving force behind the design, build, and audit of cutting-edge services within Generic Infrastructure Services (GIS). You’ll bridge the gap between Risk Officers, architects, and DevOps Engineers, transforming security visions into actionable roadmaps and ensuring flawless execution!
You and your job
You will be working in the GIS area and will be contributing to the security and In control performance of the area. You will:
- Report and Integrate: Establish an integrated risk view by reporting on security-risk themes for risk governing bodies, in collaboration with Compliance, Security and Risk teams.
- Evaluate and Challenge: Monitor, evaluate and challenge security and risk controls within the GIS landscape.
- Advise and Consult: Proactively advise IT colleagues and departments on IT and security-related risks, utilizing consultancy skills.
- Align and Collaborate: Daily alignment on processes and ways of working within GIS and with other stakeholders to foster a risk-security aware culture.
- Document and Deliver: Provide agile documentation that is sufficient for teams to start designing and building and meets regulatory requirements.
- Assess and Report: Evaluate the adequateness of GIS’s implementation of the Rabobank Security Strategy and Vision and report findings.
- Analyze and Improve: Analyze operational incidents, perform risk analyses related to IT and Continuity and adopt an Agile and Continuous improvement mindset.
- Translate and Guide: Simplify and strengthen Information Security-related risk policies for clear guidance.
- Challenge and Innovate: Challenge colleagues on security trends and developments, audit security designs/solutions and offer advice. Think outside the box to leverage new technologies and ways of working.
You and your talent
Educational and Technical Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, with additional IT, Information Security or Risk Management courses.
- Certifications: CISSP, CCSP.
- Over 5 years of IT experience, including specialized security roles (analyst, engineer, penetration tester).
Technical Skills:
- Experience with mainframe (IBM), HP NonStop, Linux.
- Setting up secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with security by design, secure cloud computing, Software Defined Infrastructure, Application Network Segmentation, security monitoring, networking technologies and secure architecture.
Methodologies and Frameworks:
- Practical application of IT security frameworks like ISO and NIST.
- Working in DevOps teams and Agile/Scrum rituals.
- Experienced user of Risk Control Frameworks.
Analytical and Conceptual Skills:
- Adept at addressing user issues, understanding business impact and collecting relevant facts and data to support decisions.
Proactive and Adaptable:
- Proactive in improving solutions and embracing challenges.
- Embraces change and self-leadership.
Integrity and Communication:
- Strong personal integrity, ability to handle classified information.
- Proficient in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
Stakeholder and Time Management:
- Experience managing stakeholders and dealing with senior management.
- Ability to prioritize, work with tight deadlines, and manage others’ expectations effectively.
Leadership and Vision:
- Motivational and visionary leadership, creating structure, purpose, and guiding developers and architects.
To be considered for this position, you must be located in the Netherlands or elsewhere in the EU and have the legal right to work in the Netherlands. We are unable to consider candidates requiring relocation from another country.
This is what we offer you
- Salary between €4.292 and €6.130 gross per month (scale 9), 36 hours per week (40 hours possible);
- Thirteenth (13th) month's salary and (8% )holiday allowance;
- an extra budget of (11%) of your gross monthly salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or to be paid out.
- Hybrid position and working from home Net allowance
- 100 % reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a commuting allowance;
- A pension scheme, to which your contribution is only 5,5%.
- a personal budget of €1.400 that you can spend on activities related to your personal development and career.
