You and your job
As Sustainability Transformation Officer you will contribute to reaching our mission ‘Growing a Better World Together’. You are a key player in driving our Rabobank Group-wide sustainability ambitions and plans, developing the strategic sustainability roadmap and monitoring its execution.

Your primary goal is to ensure Rabobank employees have the right knowledge, skills and capabilities on Sustainability. Your focus will be on designing and driving the execution of the Rabobank Group-wide Sustainability Learning & Development program in cooperation with the Group Sustainability experts, HR and the learning and development experts across the different domains of the bank. Your role is pivotal in shaping and driving sustainability skills and capabilities across Rabobank.

Own and implement the Sustainability L&D framework and roadmap: You will be responsible for developing and implementing the group-wide sustainability learning & development portfolio in the Rabobank Academy. In collaboration with HR and the domain leads of the bank, you own and develop the overarching sustainability learning ambition incl. function/role-based learning objectives and provide a structured approach to educate and train all Rabobank employees. Coordinate training development and delivery: Based on your overarching L&D roadmap, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to create and deliver training materials that align with the bank's overall sustainability goals. Specifically, you own and lead “SustainabilityWise” (group-wide foundational training on sustainability for all employees), and specific deepdive trainings on Climate, Nature and People (e-learnings, workshops, etc.). In addition, you ensure that function-specific/customized trainings (developed decentrally) are aligned with the overall Sustainability L&D framework and policies and form one coherent learning journey. Ensure ongoing effectiveness & compliance: You will be responsible for tracking and analyzing the performance of the sustainability learning & development program and initiatives to continuously improve and refine the training content and delivery methods. In addition, you ensure compliance with relevant regulations, commitments and Sustainability and HR policies.  Collaborate with other sustainability and organizational change programs: You will collaborate with other (communication, HR, etc.) programs and initiatives across the bank to ensure alignment and consistency in our learning & development initiatives. You stay up-to-date with emerging trends and market best practices to ensure that our learning & development strategy and materials remain relevant and effective.

Reporting to the Manager Sustainability Transformation, you will work closely with various stakeholders across the organization, including HR, business, and L&D leads across the organization, as well as your colleagues within Group Sustainability.

You and your talent

10+ years of experience in designing and leading organizational change in regulated, multinational organizations. Passion for and understanding of sustainability (strategy, regulations, standards, etc.), as well as current trends and best practices in change management and (sustainability) training and development Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to inspire, influence and engage senior executive level internal and external stakeholders across all hierarchical levels Consulting skills, with experience in translating complex demands towards clear objectives and balancing theoretical change management knowledge with pragmatic application  Strong project management skills, with proven ability to lead and engage diverse and multidisciplinary teams and deliver results  

This is what we offer you

  • up to €8793 salary gross per month (scale 11)
  • Thirteenth month’s salary, 8% holiday allowance and an extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion (salary, pension, holiday hours, …)
