During the Young Professional Program IT (also known as YPPIT) at Rabobank you work on your career one day a week by following technical training, or you work on your personal development. You develop talents you didn’t know you had and we are given the space to discover for yourself what you are good at and what you like. And then? Everything you learn in the training courses can immediately be put into practice, because the other 4 days you work in your starter position as a Junior Business Manager. Under the guidance of experienced colleagues, you will become a specialist in your field in no time. In addition, in the program you will work together with the team on 2 business challenges on themes such as sustainable agriculture or the cooperative energy transition. 

As a Business Manager within Retail NL Tech you will join one of the most dynamic departments of the bank: Retail NL Tech. This department is responsible for all IT activities necessary to deliver the best products and services to our Dutch customers. As part of the Business Management team, you support and advise the management team of Retail NL Tech. Sink your teeth in strategic issues of Rabobank’s IT organization and various business lines. You’ll help connect and succeed (senior) stakeholders with a can-do mentality that focuses on delivering the right answer on strategic questions that contribute to the ambitions and strategic goals of the bank. 

You will work on a broad range of urgent topics with guidance from colleagues. To do so you need to switch easily between thinking and doing, be able to keep an overview and look ahead. With (project) management talent, communicative skills, and organisational sensitivity you get the best out of your collaborations with others. 

Examples

• Set the quarterly priorities for the whole department and enable management to monitor the progress
• Work on projects that enable our tech organisation, e.g.:  "How can we improve standardisation?"
• 2 business challenges within the YPPIT

To become the specialist in your professional field, in the Young Professional Program IT 1 day a week you mainly attend training courses that that support your talent development. The courses are often given by experienced colleagues or trainers with a track record. You build your network, gain valuable experience and develop skills which will be of use to you later in your career.

• affinity with data engineering & visualisation (PowerBI), project- and stakeholder management
