Your development as a Junior Account Manager
As a Junior Account Manager you lay the foundation for becoming a trade and commodity finance specialist. You will learn to navigate the complexities of global commodity markets, structured finance, and make tangible impact to the Food System Transition and the Energy Transition. You are part of a global platform and will gain experience in a variety of different working capital solutions. Key competencies are analytical skills, eagerness to learn, social skills, and a proactive attitude to offer our clients the best solution. As a Junior Account Manager, you will:
- Join the Account Managers team where you will work on credit analysis for existing clients and prospects to gain in-dept knowledge of financing structures, business and financial analysis, and transform risks into a viable financing proposition.
- Work in a squad, centred around a set of clients, together with a.o. Relationship Managers and Credit & Collateral Managers to optimally service our clients.
- Get in-depth knowledge of global Agri, Energy and Metals commodity markets and their value chains.
- Work on your commercial skills by working together with our Relationship Managers.
- Develop an understanding of Rabobank's sustainability strategy and learn how we support our clients in their transitions.
Your development as a Young Professional
Next to your job, you will be offered a spot in our young professional program. To become a specialist within your area of expertise, during the first 18 months you will mainly follow training courses that match your specialism and further develop your talents. The training courses are given by experienced colleagues or renowned trainers.
You will build your network, gain essential experience and develop skills that will serve you well later in your career. We also challenge you and other Young Professionals and trainees 1 day a week with various cases and challenges.

Rabobank Trade and Commodity Finance is a leading player in the field of commodity finance. This is evidenced in part by the numerous awards we have received for years in a row (including Best Commodity Finance Bank and Best Global Soft Commodity Bank). We further host a dedicated sustainability department within TCF and are leading many sustainability initiatives with clients such as farmer finance projects in Africa and helping clients to trade in deforestation free soy. Trade and Commodity Finance is part of the Structured Finance domain of Rabobank Wholesale and serves Rabobank's largest international clients that trade tangible physical products.

You & your talent
- Relevant bachelor's or master's degree and excellent academic results.
- Analytical, result oriented, quality driven & an excellent communicator.
- Eager to learn, creative problem solving skills and you are able to perform under pressure.
- If you can demonstrate relevant internship experience, extracurricular, or other activities, this is a plus.
- You are willing to go the extra mile, but you also like sociability.
We offer you
- Up to €3582,- gross per month (scale 7).
- A thirteenth month and holiday allowance.
- An Employee Benefit Budget (10% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. Think about buying extra holidays, making an extra pension contribution or receiving a monthly payment.
- A pension scheme, for which your contribution is only 3.5%.
- Contract for 18 months, 40 hours per week.
- The programme starts on 1 October (earlier start is possible).
