Business Stream Continuity Management concerns the availability of business services for Rabobank customers. These services are built from components that together form a business stream. Continuity management aims to operate Rabobank services within the business risk appetite (BRA) by controlling implementations and supporting effective daily behavior and chain alignment in a just culture. Focus has shifted over the recent years from a component/application perspective to an E2E customer service perspective. This is driven by meeting customer service expectations and complying with policy & regulations.

The head of Engineering & Enterprise Tech is accountable on behalf of the MT CITO for the continuity concerning generic activities. Specific responsibilities are in the scope of the respective Tribes. The main focus is to organize the decision-making and follow-up in order to ensure continuity from an integral perspective (CITO). In addition, to ensure that Tribes are taking mitigating measures in case of deviations from the BRA.

The main goal is to secure the continuity of the day-to-day operations by managing the business streams within the business risk appetite.

You and your job

As a Business Streams Continuity Manager, you play an integral role in the continuity of Rabobank customer services e.g. iDEAL, Mobile Banking or Internet Banking. You act as a business partner of the management teams to manage & control E2E customer services in a uniform way. You support the Business in continuity management from a customer perspective.

You ensure that the IT services optimally support Rabobank’s continuity. In this position, we expect you to conduct consultative discussions at operational, tactical, and strategic management levels within the different Tribes. You understand the business problems and provide outstanding solutions with data analysis at the forefront. Your excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills will help to provide an effective service.

Practical examples:

• Draft a service agreement on business stream Mobile Banking between IT and Business with respect to the business risk appetite.
• Report on business stream continuity performance to a Tribe.
• Identify continuity issues in case of an underperformance of a business stream.

• Responsible for the business streams continuity dashboards: performance on continuity from a Rabobank customer perspective.
• Responsible for aggregation of business stream performances on continuity as input for MT CITO.
• Perform analysis related to business streams on continuity issues.
• Align business processes with the business streams with respect to the business risk appetite.

• A Master degree in IT or Business Operation;

• At least 5 years' experience with SLA and service level reporting on banking applications from a IT service management perspective;

• Proven knowledge and experience regarding continuity and risk management;

• Language proficiency Dutch native and English fluent;

• Proven ability to enhance organizational change.

• Gross monthly salary between € 5.115,32,- and € 7.307,58 (scale 10, based on your experience and skills)
• Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance
• An extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings, or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
• A personal development budget of € 1,400
