Teamlead Strategic Procurement System

As a Teamlead Strategic Procurement System you and your team contribute to Rabobank’s ambition to have grip on supplier costs and supply risks, by maintaining and optimizing the global application for Sourcing, Contracting, Supplier management & Risk management ‘PRISMA’ (based on SAP Ariba), meanwhile increasing user adoption.

You and your job

As Teamlead Strategic Procurement System, you will be responsible for managing 6 professionals. You and your team have the important challenge to manage stakeholders, to maintain and optimize PRISMA, to facilitate the further rolling out globally and to increase the user adoption.

In addition, you give space to the team, but determine the frameworks and priorities within which the work takes place. It goes without saying that you strive for the highest possible level of engagement and that you consider pleasure in your work to be important.

Procurement & Vendor Management (PVM) is a unit within Rabobank of approximately 90 FTE with a global procurement responsibility. The department contributes to a strong cooperative bank by delivering the services Strategic category management, Sourcing & contracting, Supply risk management, Supplier- and contract life cycle management, Requisition-to-Pay and Data & analytics.

PVM Global Services (GS) is responsible for supporting all the services with automation and for delivering the services Requisition-to-Pay and Data & Analytics. Next to that Global Services provides procurement knowledge through the intranet ‘Procurement Portal’ and supports the PVM department with a Project Management team to run strategic projects.

The application PRISMA is the global single source for the data of suppliers, supplier contracts and supply risks. PRISMA is a high visibility application, because the heavy regulations in the banking sector require extensive and qualitative data on supply risk. The user community spans from buyers, vendor managers and risk experts, to senior management in their role as contract- and risk owner.

Get results

• Continuously improve the automation of procurement processes in PRISMA and accommodate the high number of changes. Work closely together with the ‘service owners’ and proactively suggest optimizations of the automated processes.
• Guarantee a flawless performance of the system and meet SLA times of the ITIL processes.
• Exercise control over the IT delivery organization (20 dev/ops team members) to ensure they meet the agreed objectives.
• Optimize whenever possible the user journey to increase user adoption.

• Translate the PVM strategy into a PRISMA development & roll-out roadmap and manage the planning & milestones.
• Build and maintain good relations with the key-users and ensure that user needs are met. Have a constant focus on improving the user adoption and the quality of the PRISMA application.
• Lead and develop the team of professionals, use their unique skills and deliver high quality results.

You and your talent

• Professional Master level knowledge of and >10y of working experience and deep knowledge of global procurement processes & systems (Source-to-Pay).
• Senior management experience in a global, complex and multi stakeholder environment. Knowledge of SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract is a plus.
• Proven execution power, get things done together, in time and with right quality.
• Strong senior stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong communicator, fluent in Dutch and English.
• Knowlegde of procurement in financial services industry is a plus.
• International & culturally sensitive.
• Experienced in leading, coaching and initiating development of a team of professionals (FG 8 and above).
• Proficient in developing and managing strategic (transformational) and operational plans.

This is what we offer you

• A salary between € 6.155,29 and € 8.793,26 gross per month (scale 11),
• an extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out,
• a personal development budget of € 1.400,
• a combination of working from home and at the office.
