Display your passion for data in developing Rabobank’s data driven ambitions. Supporting all business initiatives with a need for data, both structured and unstructured as well as high volume and/or streaming data.

Working together is the way we achieve the best results. Our agile squads, within the Tribes Digital Customer Processes and Digital Platform, are highly dependent on data and you – as a Business Analyst – can help our squads in reaching their ambitions.

As tribes we want to make sure we collect all relevant data from our online channels and are able to use this data in order to shape and improve our online customer processes and personalize our communication. For this to happen, we need you to help onboard data from various data sources onto our Azure based Global Data Platform (Datalake). And not only make sure data is available, but also work with these datasets and turn them into data products that enable our digital marketing brain (Pega CDH, an AI-based decisioning model and our CDP BlueConic) to deliver personalized messages across all channels to our customers and prospects. Build dashboards and provide insights on what is happening on our digital channels deliver valuable use-cases using machine learning and modelling techniques.

You and your job

As a Business Analyst with technical skillset:

  • In consultation within the team and cross-functional stakeholders you translate business requirements into high level analyses, designs and (big) data products that are in line with the chosen IT architecture
  • You are a sparring partner for Solution Architects, Data Engineers, Product Owners and other stakeholders
  • You challenge and support the Product Owner and together with the Solution Architect, Data Steward  and Data Engineers within your team you contribute to the long-term strategic view

You can contribute to shaping the implementation by bringing in your broad experience in the data domain to identify use cases and translate them from high level business requirements into data products that can be implemented on the Azure platform.

You collaborate on a regular basis with the Product Owner and the development team to discuss improvements and new features.

Examples

  • Pega Case Management is our system of choice to shape online customer processes. Data coming from Pega should be made available on the Global Data Platform (Datalake). So you will be working with the teams responsible for Pega to discover all about the data that comes from that system. Which datatypes are we talking about, how big is this dataset, what kind of datamodel is used, which connectors are in place for connecting to our Azure Cloud, what do our stakeholders need to do with the data, how can we shape the data to fit the purpose, etc.
  • You could also work on consolidating streaming data from our Business Event Bus (BEB). How can we provide for a generic solution for our Marketing brain to be able to use information from BEB messaging in building customer profiles?
  • Building a lakehouse concept for customer attributes that can be used within all activating systems within the area of customer engagement needs a lot of preparing and figuring out. Where can we find data, what is the quality of this data, how do we apply logic that we can re-use in multiple systems. Go looking for data and talking to stakeholders to build the best solution possible
