You and your job

Your analyses and designs ensure flawless IT fulfilment of the Risk & Finance business initiatives and requirements. As Business Analyst you can make a difference by giving the right directions for development and continuous improvement of Asset & Liability Management IT applications. Together with other ALM great minds, you will have the opportunity to brainstorm and be challenged by different approaches to solving problems. A team that is highly focussed on cutting edge technology, like cloud computing, data analytics and QRM, would create an environment for you to learn and grow as IT trends progress. You will be working on topics to improve the insights in managing the balance sheet of the Rabobank.

  • You are a sparring partner for business management, architects, development teams, product owners and other stakeholders.
  • Help Area Lead/Product Owner with requirements analysis/process engineering with the aim of delivering consistent and efficient business solutions and processes.
  • You are an independent senior business analyst in an agile team. You are able to define the target state and develop a plan to get there, with the buy in of the team

Top responsibilities

  • Understand complex business problems, identify business/functional user requirements, and recommend how best to support them through processes and systems.
  • You play a key central role in monitoring the quality of work delivered by the Business Analysts in the development teams throughout the lifecycle of the projects.
  • Translate business requirements and issues into designs and specifications that are in line with the chosen business and IT architecture framework.

You would be working with Risk Management IT is positioned within the Risk & Finance IT domain, responsible for Rabobank’s backbone IT systems for the Risk and Finance business functions. Within this domain is Risk Management IT responsible for the run and change processes of Rabobank’s Asset and Liability Applications for our Treasury Colleagues.

You and your talent

Here are the essential qualifications and requirements for the Business Analyst role:

  • Education: A Higher School Certificate or equivalent is essential.
  • DevOps Experience: You’ve guided DevOps teams based on clear specifications, ensuring timely and accurate solutions.
  • Industry Background: At least 5+ years of experience in banking and/or financial services IT.
  • System Proficiency: You’ve been involved in system design, development, testing, and project implementation.
  • Business Analysis Track Record: Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Business Consultant.
  • Domain Expertise: Familiarity with Financial Markets, Treasury, and Asset & Liability Management (ALM).
  • Methodology and Stakeholder Skills: Comfortable with business analysis methodologies and stakeholder management.
  • Project Lifecycle Experience: Worked on large or complex projects throughout their full lifecycle.

Bonus Round:

  • Agile Environment: Experience with DevOps, SCRUM, and SAFe.
  • Risk Awareness: Familiarity with Audit, Compliance, and Operational Risk processes.

This is what we offer you

  • a gross monthly salary between €4.292,- and €7.307,- (scale 9/10 depending on knowledge and experience, 36 hours per week (40 hours possible)).
  • 13th month and holiday pay: the holiday allowance and annual allowance will usually be paid out in 12 equal monthly instalments. Employees have the option once a year to opt for the holiday allowance to be paid out in May and the annual allowance in December.
  • an Employee Benefit Budget (11% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions, or even receiving a monthly cash pay-out.
  • an annual personal development/training budget of € 1.400,-
  • 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a commuting allowance.
  • a monthly € 40,- net work from home allowance, based on working from home 5 days per week.
  • a monthly € 40,- net internet allowance.
  • Attractive pension fund with a personal contribution of only 5.5%. Rabobank will contribute 21.5%.
