Associate Client Office Financial Institutions (COFI)

Join one of the most dynamic environments of the bank! As an Associate of the Markets Client Office Financial Institutions, you are part of a vivid and ambitious team. In this position, your focus is on supporting the Financial Institutions global Client Owners with respect to the client lifecycle.

The end-to-end client lifecycle is relatively complex. Therefore, close cooperation with the key stakeholders such as KYC specialists, Operations, Data Management, Markets Client Enablement, Markets Regulatory Data, Legal, Compliance and Credit Risk Management is important.

You and your job


As an Associate at COFI, you work as a delegate of the global client owner. You are fully self-starting and you take ownership of the client lifecycle. As an Associate of COFI, you will have the chance to hone your knowledge and skills, build a strong network and strengthen your personal and professional development. This position is the perfect way to start at the bank, gain experience and within a few years grow into a position at f.e. Trading, Financial Institutions Group, or Capital Markets!

Making a difference 

As an Associate Client Office Financial Institutions you are responsible for:

  • Coordination of KYC CDD with Client Onboarding Teams.
  • Ensure timely Client Entry and Product Fulfilment by coordinating with Client Onboarding Teams and Static Data Management
  • Coordination of the credit approval process
  • Coordination of the Legal documentation process
  • Coordination of  the correct set up of client regulatory static data

You and your talent

  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with 3 years of working experience in a complex environment (organization, processes and system infrastructure)
  • Knowledge of FI clients and FI processes, in financial markets products and/or KYC/CDD processes is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both writing and speaking
  • You are a team player with great communication skills
  • Your mind is critical and very analytical, and you work in a problem-solving way
  • You are flexible, stress-resilient and understand the needs of your internal stakeholders
  • You are currently living and allowed to work in The Netherlands

This is what we offer you

  • up to € 4,300 gross per month (scale 7)
  • A 13th month and holiday allowance (8%), and an Employee Benefit Budget (10% of your monthly income). You can decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions or even receiving a monthly cash payout
  • A budget of € 750,- to set up your home working space, an internet allowance of up to € 40,- and a monthly home working allowance of up to € 40-.
