You and your job

As a Business Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs, data, and technology. Your ability to analyze, translate, and collaborate will contribute to the organization’s success. You will work on:

Mastering ESG and Climate Risks Knowledge:

  • Develop a deep understanding of environmental, social, and governance factors that impact business operations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to ESG and climate risks.
  • Use this knowledge to inform and enhance business strategies and decisions.

Analytical Skills and Regulatory Translation:

  • Translate complex regulations into actionable standards and requirements for the organization.
  • Analyze regulatory changes and assess their impact on business processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant standards.

Data Analytics and Processing:

  • Leverage data analytics skills to extract insights from large datasets.
  • Use data-driven approaches to inform decision-making and optimize business processes.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and IT teams to enhance data quality and reporting.

Credit Risk Domain Knowledge:

  • Familiarize yourself with credit risk models, credit scoring, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with credit risk teams to assess and manage credit risks effectively.

IT/Data Architecture and Business-IT Translation:

  • Translate complex business requirements into efficient IT solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement systems that meet business needs.

Complex Stakeholder Management:

  • Operate in a multifaceted stakeholder landscape.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse groups, including business leaders, IT professionals, and external partners.
  • Build strong relationships to facilitate collaboration and alignment.

Top 3 responsibilities

  • Gather requirements on ESG related data across the bank as contributors, to well manage the banks and customers risks on ESG.
  • Cooperate drafting the architecture on how to structurally embed, obtain and disclose these data foundations in all related processes of the bank.
  • Align with your peers across the bank on the topics of ESG data to make sure all requirements are covered and your solutions are fit for purpose.

Our ESG risk journey is not a clearly worked out path to follow. ESG regulations, challenges and developments are continuously changing very fast. Our challenge together is to deal with this and together we will. Area Credit Origination and Services (COS) is part of the Tribe Credit Core and Tribe Credit Core delivers centrally managed group functionality such that Business Units can optimally perform their end-to-end credit process. We monitor quality of data and portfolios providing insight to continuously improve the end-to-end credit process. We increase trust from the regulator and from the public and we achieve uniformity, simplification and efficiency in the Credit Journey within the bank. ESG risks are an integral part of that end-to-end credit process.

  • Fluent in Dutch.

This is what we offer you

  • a gross monthly salary between €3.711 and €7.307 based on a 36-hour work week (40 hours per week possible; possibilities for scale 8 to10);
  • 13th month and holiday pay: the holiday allowance and annual allowance will usually be paid out in 12 equal monthly instalments. Employees have the option once a year to opt for the holiday allowance to be paid out in May and the annual allowance in December.
  • an Employee Benefit Budget (10% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions, or even receiving a monthly cash pay-out.
  • an annual personal development/training budget of € 1.400,-
  • 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a commuting allowance.
  • a monthly € 40,- net work from home allowance, based on working from home 5 days per week.
  • a monthly € 40,- net internet allowance.
  • Attractive pension fund with a personal contribution of only 5.5%. Rabobank will contribute 21.5%.
