We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join the ride in creating solutions to make things easy and efficient for our customers and employees. 

You and your job

As a designer within Business Banking International domain, you will be working on the digital transformation of our banking process for our big international clients (Wholesale) and optimizing the digital services for our Rural clients worldwide (think about mobile solutions for our big farmers in Brazil). You understand the needs and expectations of our international clients and are excited about the creation of design concepts for complex financial workflows.

The designers in the global Business Design Team are pioneering in an international environment to create delightful experiences for our clients worldwide and our global bankers internally.

In a nutshell, you will...

• Drive the strategic direction for journeys within the complex world of Wholesale clients; research the user and usage visualise, create, and iterate but also create pixel-perfect designs on an operational level.
• You understand the needs and expectations of our international clients and are excited about the creation of design concepts for complex financial workflows.
• Work with product teams and have day-to-day interactions with the PO, BA, and developers - your home is the Chapter Design, a creative team of 90+ Designers.

Your role
As a UX designer, your main task will be to conceptualize, design and improve journeys for our business platforms. You will join a multi-disciplinary team of designers responsible for the end-to-end experience of business customers and bank employees. This is a complex space, and we have very ambitious plans, so get ready for the challenge! 

Your responsibilities 

• Work together with PO’s, BA’s and developers to translate business requirements into innovative concepts. 
• Improve new and existing workflows and help us build scalable products. 
• Apply the Rabobank design system during concept development and design new components to extend our library.  
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to ensure a development process and a high-quality outcome. 
• Work together with other designers and be responsible for all steps in the design process. If necessary, you involve other designers and specialists to help you with this.
• You see the challenge in working with complex user interfaces and you are both a structured strategic thinker and a creator of pixel-perfect designs. 

Your talent

We are looking for a talented designer who can use creativity, problem-solving and communication skills to handle the complex context of a bank.  

• You have at least 6 years of experience in UX design and confidently take responsibility and ownership of design projects.  
• You have what’s needed to work in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn new skills and methodologies. 
• You are a designer by heart but are experienced and confident performing user research tasks, such as user interviews and usability tests.
• You have experience with service design and are comfortable mapping a customer journey and leading a development team along this exercise.
• You are comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team of designers, developers, marketeers, and other stakeholders and able to manage these different perspectives and interests.  
• You are fluent with design and prototyping tools like Figma, and familiar with ideation and user research methods.  
• You have experience with delivering final designs and supporting the development teams to implement them.  
• You can communicate professionally in English. Knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus.

This is what we offer you

• A salary between € 51.508,- and € 73.567,-  gross per year (scale 9)
• Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance
