You and your Job

Shape the bank’s design transformation and grow the influence of Chapter Design within Tribes which are new to design, by joining the Agency team as our new Service Designer.

The Agency team is a small team (5 fte) specialized in furthering the influence of Chapter Design in unchartered waters. Meaning, we focus specifically on working together with Tribes who have never worked with our Chapter before and are thus, new to design.

As a Service Designer within the Agency team, you directly contribute to our ambition by working on project-based collaborations. Examples of project-based collaborations are mapping user journeys, creating service blueprints, hosting applied design thinking workshops etc. These collaborations are aimed at delivering user insights and connecting how a user centered approach benefits the Tribes you work with.

Working within the Agency team requires that you understand new and complex themes quickly. You are experienced in stakeholder management XXL and determining what to focus on first. Furthermore, you have mastered the art of zooming in to create detailed UX deliverables. But you also continuously zoom out to keep your eye on the bigger picture and how to bring it all together.

You are experienced in managing projects and stakeholders to conduct the necessary research and workshops as planned.  You have excellent people skills and a knack for translating how your project UX deliverables can directly add value to the business goals of the Tribes you work with.

During collaborations you promote a user centered way of working within the Tribes by introducing new rituals or design thinking methodologies and by continuously giving users a voice.

Practical Examples   

  • Introduce Chapter Design to Tribes New to Design by presenting at Tribe events. Or by showcasing the value of design with projects done by the Agency team. 
  • Collaborate with tribes by helping them determine the direction and strategy within projects, by conducting research and hosting workshops to create user journey maps and service blueprints.
  • Design and host (tailor-made) applied Design Thinking workshops, aimed at helping Tribes learn how they themselves can apply Design Thinking methodologies in their daily jobs.

You and your talent

  • > 5 years as a Service Designer in complex environments.
  • You confidently take responsibility and ownership of large, complex design projects while being able to translate complex problems into simple and intuitive solutions.  
  • You conveniently manoeuvre through large organisations and know how to get support for your ideas and concepts.   
  • Pragmatic, and wants to get better every day.

This is what we offer you

  • € 4.292,40 up to € 6.130,64  gross per month (scale  9)   
  • Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance   
  • A personal development budget of € 1,400-
