Business Analyst - Area FEC & Onboarding

Job Objective
As a Business Analyst within the Financial Economic Crime (FEC) & Onboarding Area, you will play a key role in building and maintaining a stable and future-proof platform for the Customer Due Diligence process (Know Your Customer regulations). While supporting the Global Client Onboarding (GCOB) application, you will work in a challenging and international environment. You will work closely with business representatives, the product owner, developers and architects to ensure that Rabobank is confident in knowing who we offer our products and services to; thereby contributing to our shared goals against financial and economic crimes.

Department context
The Wholesale & Rural organization within Tech supports the wholesale bank across the globe. The Client Banker and Data services tribe delivers and supports global business systems, including process automation in the areas of CRM, Client Onboarding, Client Data Management, Document- and Case Management. The Client cluster has global responsibility for servicing more than 20+ locations divided in multiple regions. The delivery unit is working closely with strategic programs within other domains to realize the bank’s digital transformation.

Your contribution

  • Work closely with the Product owner and users to translate business requirements into IT solutions.
  • Responsible for gathering and documenting the functional requirements for all new KYC initiatives and regulations.
  • Take a lead role when implementing new functionality, working closely with users, developers and testers.
  • Delivery of User Stories including refinement together with team
  • Provide production support, including user incident management, where required.
  • Provide training to users where required.
  • Proactively participate in the team decisions and challenge your team members on presented solutions and decisions.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-3 years of experience participating in a DevOps team using Scrum/Agile
  • 2-3 years of experience in business analysis (preferably in banking and/or financial services IT)
  • Experience in implementing complex systems in large corporate environments in the role as Business Analyst
  • Knowledge and experience of Business Analysis methods and best practices (required)
  • BA training or certification (preferred)
  • Experience with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) (preferred)
  • Experience in the KYC domain (preferred)
  • Experience guiding developers from requirements and solutions to delivery of software
  • Experience with system design, development, testing, and project implementation & planning
  • Basic knowledge of SQL/.NET (preferred)
  • Experience in working in an international/multicultural environment (preferred)
  • Must be fluent in English (both verbal and written)
