Senior Business Analyst Operational Risk

You and your job

This position will fulfil the role of Senior Business Analyst with focus on Archer (GRC platform). As a Business Analyst your will work in a scrum team in close cooperation with several business stakeholders and the goal is to further improve current functionality in Archer and implement new use cases.

Business experience in one or more of these areas but no prior IT experience? You might be the perfect match for us!

You feel comfortable gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements for new and existing applications. You facilitate the business design sessions within the context of Operational Risk Management, Model Risk Management, Business Continuity Management etc.

Key tasks

• Collect, analyse, refine the business requirements together with the relevant stakeholders
• Work closely with the solution architect and product owner towards the system design
• Coordinate and perform the user acceptance testing together with the business
• Collaborate with the development team on development, testing, and priority setting

You and your talent

• Have a good business understanding of Operational Risk Management, Model Risk Management and/or Business Continuity Management
• Prior experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance platforms such as Archer. And ability to have a holistic view on such modular systems.
• Independent in planning and organizing the assigned work
• Proactive in looking for improvements
• You have a helicopter view: overseeing a wide domain and any consequences certain (design) decisions have
• On the other hand you are not afraid to ‘get your hands dirty’ and become involved in complex design, analysis and implementation questions
• Process thinking
• Good communicator: ability to talk to senior management, business experts as well as developers and other team members
• You have a pro-active mind-set and you take ownership
• Prior experience working in scrum (PBI creation, acceptance criteria, sprints, review, etc.)

This is what we offer you

• a gross monthly salary between €4.068,- and €5.811 (scale 9, 36 hours per week (40 hours possible)). 
• 13th month and holiday pay: as of January 1, 2023, the holiday allowance and annual allowance will usually be paid out in 12 equal monthly instalments. Employees have the option once a year to opt for the holiday allowance to be paid out in May and the annual allowance in December.
• an Employee Benefit Budget (13% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions, or even receiving a monthly cash pay-out.
• an annual personal development/training budget of € 1.400,-
• 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a commuting allowance.
• a monthly € 40,- net work from home allowance, based on working from home 5 days per week.
• a monthly € 40,- net internet allowance.
