You and your job
As a Lead Advisory Services, you can make a difference by coordination the dissemination of Rabobank’s vast Agri and banking knowledge base and network to strengthen financial institutions in emerging economies. Rabo Partnerships Advisory Services supports banks, governments and farmers organizations by designing and executing consultancy trajectories. As a Lead/Senior Project Manager you are responsible for managing quality, commercial success and impact of these trajectories through the use of consultants out of the Rabo group. We have a project portfolio in Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia which we aim to grow.

Get results

• Enable banks in Africa, Asia and beyond to deliver on their Agri finance strategies through extensive support programs building on inhouse expertise;
• Manage projects in relation to F&A globally in partnership with multilateral development organizations, financial institutions and Rabobank’s  Food and Agri customer base;
• Contribute to RP’s position internally and externally as connector for impact and return globally in the food and ag space.

• Responsible for commercially sound execution of Rabo Partnerships Advisory program in the field of food and ag – strong capability to link Rabobank customer interest to the advisory programs and inclusive ventures of Rabo Partnerships;
• Represent Rabo Partnerships internally and externally and together with colleagues drive the food an ag agenda in the Rabo Partnerships advisory and inclusive venture building team;
• Manage a team of professionals in close coordination with the other leads and the global head to ensure RP is the workplace of choice.

You and your talent

Customer focus, project management, impact and excellent relationship management skills are clearly essential for the role of Project Manager Advisory Services. In addition, it's important that you recognise everything in the checklist below:

• Master degree, preferably the area of agriculture and business/economics;
• 10+ Years of relevant international banking experience, including emerging and developing economies experience;
• Experience in agricultural banking and Agri value chains in emerging economies;
• Excellent stakeholder management/ networking skills, ability to represent Rabo Partnerships internationally at conferences, strong speaker;
• Consultancy experience and/or (good writing and presentation skills
• Ability to adapt and improvise;
• Fluent in English and preferably a third language such as Spanish or French;
• Positively inclined towards international travelling up to 30% of your time;
• Exposure to Fintech and Agtech in emerging market settings is a plus.

This is what we offer you

• Up to €8793,- gross per month (scale 11, 36h/week)
• A thirteenth month and holiday pay
• An Employee Benefit Budget (11% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions or even receiving a monthly cash payout
