As a data engineer you support technical projects and bring advanced data solutions to life. Your role is crucial in shaping and implementing the technical architecture, designing innovative systems, and implementing solutions that manage and analyze data optimally. And when necessary, you step in to solve high-urgency issues.

In the domain of FEC Tech, you will get the opportunity to contribute and work with the newest developments in the market and thus develop your knowledge and skills to the maximum extent possible.

Making a difference by:

• Working on the key topic for our bank; Financial Economic Crime;
• Working in a DevOps end to end squad that is responsible from request to maintenance;
• Designing and developing new solutions in the Microsoft Azure stack, such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure DevOps deployment pipelines, Synapse Analytics, Azure Analysis Services, Power BI, etc.
• Working together on new innovative solutions for complex business needs.

You & Your Talent

Innovation, coaching, impact, communication skills, and vision are essential for the role of data Engineer. In addition, it's important that you recognise your self in the checklist below:

• You have studied IT, technology or similar;
• You have 5 or more years of development experience;
• Strong data analytics skills and experience with Databricks using Pyspark and python;
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing ETL/ ELT processes using tools like Azure Data Factory;
• Monitoring and optimization capability for the performance of data pipeline;
• Experience with version control tools like Git and Devops practices for CI/CD of data solutions;
• Experience with scheduling and orchestration tools like Airflow;
• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgresSQL/MSSQL/Oracle);
• Strong communication skills (English) to work within the team and other functional teams;
• Knowledge of API design is a plus;
• knowledge of IaC (Infrastructure as Code with Terraform) is a plus.

• A contract for 36 - 40 hours per week 
• This position is a scale 9 (between € 4068,63 - € 5811,03)
• Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance; 
• An extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out; 
• A Budget of € 750- to set up your home working space and a monthly home working allowance of up to € 40-;

• A combination of working from home and at the office; 
• 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport; 
• A pension scheme to which you contribute 3.5%;
