You shape the activities necessary to create crucial insights that contribute to decision-making up to the highest level of the bank. With state-of-the-art tooling, we enable other internal departments of the bank to conduct data analyses, derive insights and make data-driven decision on a tactical and strategical level. To take the next step in this regard, a scalable way of Business Intelligence (BI) is needed and therefore the focus of this role is on implementing the vision of Self-Service Business Intelligence (SSBI) throughout the bank.

You and your job

In the role of BI consultant your focus will predominantly be on further implementing and guiding the change and adoption of self-service analytics within the Rabobank. You empower users in different departments to leverage BI most effectively and help the organization across all levels to become more insight driven.

As an advisor and change agent you play a critical role in creating a culture that values and leverages data for decision making whilst providing the necessary support to users to embrace self service capabilities. Some examples of topics you will work on include the establishment of a learning environment, a centralized marketplace, and the set-up of a broader BI community. In addition, you are an advocate of re-usable building blocks and data products in our modern Microsoft Azure Data Platform, where policies, guidelines and standards will help build solid, performant, and scalable solutions. Top 3 responsibilities

  • Change Management: advocate for and promote the benefits of self-service BI across the organization. Encourage a culture of data-driven decision-making and independence among end-users. Drive and lead change management initiatives related to the adoption of self-service BI tools. Manage the change by determining the planning, communication and coordination of projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: collaborate with business units to understand their needs and challenges, ensure alignment between BI solutions and business goals. Build relationships with key stakeholders to foster a culture of collaboration.
  • End-user adoption: develop and implement strategies and training programs to empower end-users to become proficient in using self-service BI tools. Provide training sessions, workshops, and documentation to enhance end-user capabilities. Help end-users to overcome challenges  and maximize their use of self-service BI tools. Create a support system and resources to assist end-users in their day-to-day activities. Collect feedback from users to understand their experiences and continuously improve self-service BI solutions.

You and your talent

  • HBO- or WO-equivalent education.
  • You have experience with Business Intelligence, experience with Self-Service BI is a plus.
  • You feel comfortable in a continuous changing environment and you are able to guide people in a changing organization.
  • You have good networking and communication skills. You know how to connect the right people.
  • You are analytically strong; you see connections between various ongoing initiatives.
  • You are results-driven and solution-oriented.
  • You have a fluent English proficiency and minimally a B2 Dutch proficiency.

This is what we offer you

  • A 36-hour workweek with a salary between € 3.518,06 and € 5.024,15 gross per month (scale 8).
  • An extra budget of 10% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
  • Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance.
  • An OV-business card or fixed monthly travel allowance.
  • Hybrid working: we work 1 or 2 days a week from the office.
  • A personal development budget of €1400.
