IT lead Data & Insights

Do you want to make an impact as a Tech Lead within Tech4FEC, co-leading the Data and Business Intelligence (BI) department, where we as a cooperative bank can play an important role in Financial Economic Crime unit to develop data products and Reporting developed on our Microsoft Azure stack.

You and your job
A crucial position in which you, together with the Area lead, Area Architect, Tech Lead, Product Owners and Scrum Masters, will lead and enable the IT squads to grow in order to build innovative IT solutions in the area of FEC Data and BI.

As a Tech Lead you work together with the Area Leadership, other FEC departments, external parties, the other Tech Lead colleagues and Senior management on the further development of the FEC Tech Tribe and IT domain and provide a substantial contribution to the maturity of the IT squads and our IT solutions.

Practical Examples 

As a Tech Lead FEC Data and BI, all your knowledge and experience will be challenged. As we are still growing and building up the IT squads, you will be able to use your strong people leadership skills. As we are building up new innovative IT, data and BI solutions, you will be also able to use your problem solving skills as well as your analytical capabilities in the many different initiatives. In the FEC Data and BI area, you are working with a lot of stakeholders, within the Tribe, with other data parties in the bank, and within IT, so you will surely need your collaborative skills and strong skills to communicate with and inform stakeholders. Next to stakeholders within the bank, you will also be working together with multiple external partners delivering strategic IT sourcing and IT solutions.

Top responsibilities

As Tech lead you are challenged on a daily basis. You will face complex issues that have a lot of impact on the bank and the daily challenges with which the Rabobank is confronted these days.

The social impact of your position translates into creating a bank that plays a global role in ensuring good data quality and valuable reporting towards all parties within FEC.

• You work on Tech4FEC initiatives that contribute well to our gatekeeper role and our mission: ‘Growing a Better World Together’.
• You are responsible for multiple IT squads who are working in the Area FEC Data and BI. These IT squads are running and building IT solutions related to Data an BI solutions on Azure
• You get your energy by working in an environment that changes regularly, with constant new IT demands, with internal and external pressure, which still needs to grow in agile and maturity and in which we want to facilitate an engineering culture.

You and your talent

• An University degree;
• At least 5 years work experience in comparable roles, within complex IT environments
• Knowledge of and experience with working Dev(Sec)Ops and Scaled Agile; experience in facilitating teams in Dev(Sec)Ops and Agile transformation
• Ample experience in software development and maintenance
• Preferable - Knowledge of Data (management) and BI
• Preferable - Knowledge of Microsoft Azure stack (data and PowerBI).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Dutch and English

This is what we offer you

• This position is a scale 10/11 role
• Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance
• an extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
• a budget of € 750- to set up your home working space and a monthly home working allowance of up to € 40-
