Now, let's talk about our exciting department, the Pay and Receive on Time (PaROT) Area, a crucial component of the Tribe Payments. Our mission is simple – to unburden our customers with seamless online (batch) payments and services. In this area, we provide the essential foundation services that power the payment system, with a particular focus on batch payments in a landscape teeming with databases and external partners.
Our tech stack is as cutting-edge as it gets, with Java, Springboot MicroServices in the Cloud, and the creation and maintenance of slick front ends using our proprietary framework based on the latest versions of Angular within the Rabo banking App.

You & your talent
Education & Experience: You have a relevant HBO or University degree with a proven track record of at least 5 years in developing complex software systems.
Tech Enthusiast: You are a Software Engineer with a passion for new technologies and a drive to push boundaries.
Payment Knowledge & Backend Affinity: Familiarity with payment methods and an affinity for backend work are advantageous.
Agile Mindset & Ownership: You embrace Scrum/Agile principles, take ownership of software development, and are responsible for testing.
Innovative & Customer-Centric: You exhibit critical thinking, take initiative, and prioritize customer needs.
Team Collaboration & Experience: You challenge and coach team members and have experience in large company environments.
Effective Communication: You can communicate technical concepts effectively, fostering confidence among colleagues.
Bilingual: Fluent in both Dutch and English.
Technical Skills (Must-Have): Proficiency in Typescript, Angular CLI, frontend fundamentals (Javascript, HTML, CSS), Angular components, Angular Services, and RxJS.
Technical Skills (Nice-to-Have): Knowledge of Angular Routing, Angular Forms, state management (Angular Redux), Git commands, Git workflows, and REST API principles.
This is what we offer you
a gross monthly salary between € 3.959,- and € 5.655,- (scale 9, 36 hours per week).
13th month and holiday pay: as of January 1, 2023, the holiday allowance and annual allowance will usually be paid out in 12 equal monthly instalments. Employees have the option once a year to opt for the holiday allowance to be paid out in May and the annual allowance in December.
an Employee Benefit Budget (11% of your monthly salary). You decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions, or even receiving a monthly cash pay-out.
an annual personal development/training budget of € 1.400,-
100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport! Do you still prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a commuting allowance.
a monthly € 40,- net work from home allowance, based on working from home 5 days per week.
a monthly € 40,- net internet allowance.
Attractive pension fund with a personal contribution of only 5.5%. Rabobank will contribute 21.5%.
