You will get the chance to rotate in 4 departments within our Advisory & Investment teams. Corporate Finance Advisory (CFA) serves Rabobank's global clients by sharing knowledge, connecting networks, and developing solutions. CFA connects global networks through Sector Banking and Sponsor Coverage teams, working in close collaboration with Financial Advisory & Solutions and product teams (Mergers & Acquisitions and Equity Capital Markets). The team exchanges views on a variety of corporate finance topics within CFA and across Rabobank; the core objective is to strengthen the relationship with global clients through various product segments. By commercializing sector knowledge and network, Corporate Finance Advisory drives and grows event income and originates strategic mandates across the bank to support Rabobank's mission.

Rabobank’s captive investments arm, Rabo Investments (RI), is the venture capital and private equity branch of the bank,  and invests in companies and funds around the world. As an active shareholder we help founders and managements to grow their business.

If this triggers you, imagine yourself rotating in 4 of these teams:

• Originating, structuring and executing equity and equity related products such as IPOs, secondary offerings, block trades and more in our Equity Capital Markets team
• Providing expertise to resolve unique clients’ needs through advising on financial solutions related to corporate events as well as structuring and executing complex transactions in our Financial Advisory & Solutions team
• Providing tailored advice and executing complex transaction in our Mergers & Acquisitions team
• Originating, structuring and executing (i) direct equity investments across the full lifecycle (start-ups, scale-ups and established companies), thereby supporting companies in realizing their growth ambitions and (ii) fund investments, in our Rabo Investments team
• Driving the strategic dialogue with our clients on large strategic moves by combining knowledge and insights around sector, shareholder, competitor and peer perspectives in our Sector Banking team
• Originating, developing and institutionalising Rabobank’s relationships with leading financial sponsors, giving us unique insights into their investment approach and needs in our Sponsor Coverage team

Making a difference

On a daily base, you will make a difference by:

• Preparing client visits and top-notch pitching materials
• Tracking market developments
• Contributing to financial analyses, modelling, valuation and client relationship work
• Structuring transactions including sustainable finance solutions
• Synthesizing company information (including its markets, products and competitors and transactions) and analysing customer’s needs to develop pro-active solutions (together with senior members)
• Contributing to the major global transitions through Rabobank’s strategic pillars Banking4NL, Banking4Food and Banking4Energy

Young Professional Program  – Corporate Banking

During the program you will be offered the opportunity to rotate within Advisory & Investments, where you can develop new skills and gain experiences in each department and accelerate as a Young Professional. Whilst working in different positions, you will be offered a 1.5 year program that focusses on your personal growth path. You will be offered various personal development trainings, coaching sessions and network opportunities, on top of the content driven trainings to enhance your skills required for your daily job. With you

Customer focus, strategic vision, ambitious and being result-driven are clearly essential for the role. In addition, it's important that you also meet the following criteria:

• Relevant Bachelor or Master degree at University level
• Strong affiliation with corporate finance and/or the food & agriculture industry
• Excellent commercial and technical skills
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment and deliver results within project timelines;
• Excellent English skills both spoken and written .
