You and your future
During the Young Engineering Professional Program (also known as YEPP) at Rabobank you work on your career one day a week by following a technical track, or you work on your personal development. You develop talents you didn’t know you had and we are given the space to discover for yourself what you are good at and what you like. And then? Everything you learn in the training courses can immediately be put into practice, because the other 4 days you work in your starter position as a Junior Data Engineer. Under the guidance of experienced colleagues, you will become a specialist in your field in no time. In addition, in the program you will work together with the team on 2 business challenges on themes such as sustainable agriculture or the cooperative energy transition. 

In the Working Capital & Trade Finance area you will help Rabobank to become "The global F&A connector" in the integrated value chain. You will develop a platform where we can plot prospects and clients in the value chains and can directly see the peer analyses with the main competitors. By creating such automated insights into the client’s working capital scenarios, including benchmarking and peer group comparisons, we can add value to the interaction with our clients which can make the difference in a pitch.

Examples

• Keep the data model aligned with business interests by adding, updating or deleting elements

• Combine data analysis with visualizations to create insights in the Client’s working capital position and insights in relevant impacts in relation to industry, geography, rules/regulations, weather etc.

• Develop data ingestion pipelines and data structuring through the use of Azure Databricks and Azure DataFactory

• Ensure that our code (infrastructure as code, ELT logic) always stays up to date and reliable.

• Safeguard the security of the data and processes we have to prevent potential damage

To become the specialist in your professional field, in the Young Engineering Professional Program 1 day a week you mainly attend training courses that that support your talent development. The courses are often given by experienced colleagues or trainers with a track record. You build your network, gain valuable experience and develop skills which will be of use to you later in your career.

You and your talent

This is a selection of the terms of employment for a Junior Data Engineer based on a 40-hour working week.
