As a Supply Risk Case Officer, you will contribute to Rabobank’s strategic ambition to improve the supply risk management on supply contracts for the Rabobank Group.

As Supply Risk Case Officer you make an important contribution in improving the supplier risk management on Rabobank's critical supply contracts with third parties world-wide. A responsibility with impact, which you shape by making the right connection with your colleagues within and outside Operations Procurement & Vendor Management (OPS PVM). This to build and maintain excellent supply risk management and oversight. 

OPS PVM is a unit within Rabobank of approximately 85 FTE with a global procurement responsibility for the Rabobank Group. The department contributes to a strong cooperative bank by strategic category management, supply, contracting, supplier- and contract life cycle management and ordering including all relevant risk & compliancy themes. In our ‘world class procurement way of working we have strong focus on excellence both in the relationship with and in the (risk) performance of our suppliers and maintain for this a global scope.

Get results

• The Supplier Risk Case Officer performs risk procedures during the contract life cycle of supply contracts on behalf of the business owners/contract owners who are accountable for managing the contract risks (as contract-owner). 
• The Supply Risk Case Officer liaises with both buyers and vendor managers within PVM during the risk assessment processes so that elevated supply risks can be considered during negotiations and/or supplier/contract term meetings.

• Supporting business owners/contract owners in the execution of the supplier risk process .
• Signalling to the Supply Risk Officers on new or changed supply risks resulting from the supply risk process performed.
• Collaborate closely with the other PVM teams and playing an important role in signalling improvements for CSM Excellence and/or Policy Office.

You and your talent

• Knowledge/experience level Ba with minimum 3 years relevant* working experience or Knowledge/experience level MSc with minimum 1 year relevant* working experience. Requires conceptual insight in risk management methods and techniques.
• Team player with a natural way to achieve good results together in a team.
• Hands on mentality.
• The system PRISMA (SAP Ariba) is used, experience in this system is an advantage. 
• English speaking, Dutch preferred.
• Fits with the 12 Raboskills, where PVM specifically aims for mastery of the following five skills: Agility, Judgement & Decision Making, Negotiation, Complex Problem Solving and Storytelling. 

*Working experience in risk management and deep knowledge of supplier and contract risk management, including underlying regulations of the banking industry.

This is what we offer you

• up to € 5,437.98 gross per month (scale 8 or 9).
• an extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.
