As part of the Rabo Ventures team you will be part of a team building an equity portfolio of ventures creating positive change and delivering financial returns. We invest in opportunities ranging from on-farm solutions like alternative crop inputs and precision farming to alternative proteins and waste reduction. As we are active in North America, Europe and Israel we offer a dynamic international working environment.
With its EUR 150mln mandate Rabo Ventures takes minority equity stakes in early stage Ag & Food tech ventures ranging from seed to series C and often invest s in consortia alongside recognized and specialized investors.

Build relevant network and deliver high quality investment opportunities
Structuring, negotiating and executing of equity transactions and end-to-end responsibility for the entire investment process. This includes oversight of due diligence, drafting investment proposals and presenting the investment proposals in the Investment Committee
Take on board (observer) roles and support the growth of our portfolio companies also through delivering the value in the Rabobank network
Top 3 responsibilities
Use network and initiate market deep dives to identify new investment opportunities
Structuring, negotiating and executing of equity transactions and end-to-end responsibility for the entire investment process. This includes oversight of due diligence, drafting investment proposals and presenting the investment proposals in the Investment Committee
Build relationships with the VC community, industry experts and thought leaders inside and outside the bank
Furthermore, you coach and support team members in their development of hard and soft skills and you actively contribute to the management of the broader portfolio and strategic direction of Rabo Ventures.

You and your talent
>8 years relevant working experience, in Venture Capital where you have been involved with and led successful transactions from investment to exit;
Affinity with Ag & Food tech and a drive to use this technology to address pressing challenges; a technical background relevant to this space is considered a benefit
Relevant personal network in the VC and the Ag & Food tech community
Keen on improving the team through challenging and coaching of (junior) investment team members
Entrepreneurial mindset: driving results, taking initiative, showing enthusiasm
Strong written & verbal communication skills , command of English and allowed to work in NL / in the EER
Commercial focus, collaboration, social skills and integrity
This is what we offer you
Salary according to CLA in scale 11
Additionally: holiday allowance (9%), 13th month and an additional budget of 11% to spend in several ways (including as extra salary or holiday hours)
A pension scheme, to which your contribution is only 3.5% or 5.5%, to your choice.
