You and your job
As a Business Analyst/Tester, you will take the lead as the primary liaison between our stakeholders and our data-rich environments. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and integrity of data as it flows seamlessly from our data warehouses into our Reporting systems. In this department, we play a vital role in collecting, analyzing, monitoring, and distributing finance and risk data, a foundation upon which our bank thrives.
But that's not all – you'll also be the voice of the customer and end-users, championing their concerns by gathering precise business and data requirements and translating them into actionable test plans. Your expertise may also help identify opportunities for automation, revolutionizing our processes, and supporting or advising the business in re-engineering test automation.
Data Management and Validation: Expertly monitor and validate data from our data warehouses for correctness and completeness.
Requirements Definition and Project Input: Define test requirements and contribute valuable input to project scope and objectives through meticulous research, fact-finding, and elicitation. Possess a deep understanding of business, systems, and requirements.
Compliance Focus: Prioritize and ensure BCBS239 compliance throughout testing activities.
Testing Proficiency: Conduct function testing and implement efficient test automation techniques, including the use of tools like PowerDesigner.
Data Preparation and Alignment: Skillfully prepare test data and harmonize test data setup with both upstream and downstream systems.
Issue Resolution and Root Cause Analysis: Collaborate on root cause analysis and diligently follow up on system and platform issues.
Regression Testing Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive approach for regression testing.
Requirements Translation and Design Alignment: Translate business and IT requirements into functional and technical designs, ensuring alignment with architects, product owners, stakeholders, and the responsible squads within and outside our tribe.
Performance Reporting and Expertise: Effectively prepare and execute performance, load, and penetration tests. Provide transparent reporting of test status and results, offering insightful advice on the next steps.

Educational Background: Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Economics, or a related field.
Professional Experience: Possess over 3 years of experience as a Tester and an additional 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a complex data-driven and model-based environment, working collaboratively with combined business and IT implementation teams.
Regulatory and Data Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to translate regulatory requirements in financial environments into IT solutions supporting our business. Proficient in handling credit risk data using tools like PowerDesigner and SQL.
Strategic Leadership: Capable of creating, guiding, and supporting test and implementation strategies for projects.
Holistic Perspective: Exhibit a "helicopter view" mindset, overseeing a broad domain and understanding the ramifications of design decisions.
Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with squads, control partners, and various stakeholders within the organization.
Banking Knowledge: A solid understanding of banking products and business operations, as the role necessitates interaction between different organizations.
Agile Adaptability: Embrace the Agile way of working, demonstrating flexibility, innovation, and structured work habits within the department's dynamic environment.
This is what we offer you
a gross monthly salary between € 3.959,- and € 5.655,- (scale 9, 36 hours per week).
13th month and holiday pay: as of January 1, 2023, the holiday allowance and annual allowance will usually be paid out in 12 equal monthly instalments. Employees have the option once a year to opt for the holiday allowance to be paid out in May and the annual allowance in December.

a monthly € 40,- net internet allowance.
Attractive pension fund with a personal contribution of only 5.5%. Rabobank will contribute 21.5%.
