You and your job

As Implementation Manager FEC Sanctions Control Standards, you play a critical role in ensuring that Rabobank meets Sanctions requirements and effectively manages Sanctions risks .  You have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of procedures, guidance and support programs to enhance the bank's compliance with Sanctions regulations and our ability to manage sanctions risks effectively. You do this from the Control Standards Sanctions department, part of the Sanctions domain within the FEC organization.

As Implementation Manager FEC Sanctions Control Standards you are responsible for the realization and implementation of Sanctions policy aimed at, among other things, review, onboarding, management and offboarding of customers. You are involved in impact assessments, implementation of sanction packages and customer end-to-end processes. You closely work with your colleagues in Control Standards and support your Rabobank colleagues in the Sanctions domain. A role with impact, which you fulfill as an enthusiastic driven professional.

Creating impact

  • You are responsible for the implementation of good, efficient and well-implemented Sanctions policies that complies with all relevant laws and regulations.

  • In the implementation of a well-implemented policy, you involve various stakeholders and ensure that you find the connection to both content and skills.

  • You stimulate colleagues and stakeholders so that they make the required contribution to the policy and its implementation.

  • You work closely in a team with colleagues, team leads and managers within all Sanctions/FEC departments globally. Personal leadership is an important characteristic here. This means that you work as an entrepreneur. You use time, energy and resources efficiently. Personal leadership also means that you take initiative, focus on your goal and develop your talents.

  • In the development and implementation, optimal use of the technical possibilities for efficiency and to guarantee compliance with the policy is a must.

  • By fulfilling these responsibilities, you contribute to maintaining a robust Sanctions compliance framework, enhancing the skills of employees, and ensuring effective risk management throughout the bank.

You and your talent

  • Relevant Bachelor or Master’s degree;

  • You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in a dynamic banking environment, with practical knowledge in the field of Sanctions/FEC related topics;

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in the area of Sanctions Law, Wwft, Sanctions compliance and regulations, with a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and emerging trends;

  • You are familiar with the primary banking processes, products and systems and are well aware of the way of working of a bank/Rabobank with regards to Sanctions and FEC;

  • You are strong in communication and able to bring complex matters to the fore in an understandable way;

  • You have persuasive power and are able to get things and people moving to achieve your goals;

  • You are good at process-based thinking and simplifying things;

  • You are driven to continuously keep your knowledge up to date with new developments in the industry;

  • Working in a dynamic environment is no problem for you;

  • You master the Dutch and English language in word and writing.

This is what we offer you

  • Scale 10, depending on your knowledge and experience. With a maximum of € 6.741,-

  • Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance.

  • An extra budget of 11 % of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.

  • A combination of working from home and at the office.
